  1. Little stats bar has us with 11 shots and 5 on target,.
  2. Arma had to really take a touch on that one, which meant the sapce had gone. Smallbone agian linking it up. Good game from him.
  3. Another nearly one. Adams keeps it down well as he's going over...
  4. Starting to get those spaces back, after several minutes when their back 3 was restricting it.
  5. We gave a way a freekick, Sulemana gets booked. However, around that, Downes to start with but others had solid defensive shape. An improvement on earlier games when we gave it way.
  6. A Stu free kick.... but Manning takes it... An Adams header.... Saved.... Bah!
  7. Rotherham making a sub and switching tactics. Let's see how easily we get past this set up. Manager chatting to departing player to explain.
  8. ooooooh. That would have been lovely. Smallbone doing well initially with a cross. When it comes back, he sets up AA and KWP. it's hard work by KWP to get it back and get it into the middle. Any one of these just needs that finish...
  9. Martin will be very pleased with that. Loads of passes around part of our defence. Nice and comfortable, with no rush or panic, and we get it across to the other side. Good work from Smallbone. Lovely pass, and when it comes back he sets up another move. Rotherham get an attack, just to remind us that a second would be nice to get.
  10. A central clearlance from Baz there. It goes to the opposisiton, showing that he can be like other 'keepers when he wants to be. 🙂
  11. I think that counts as Blazed Over from KWP.
  12. Not enough power on the shot. There wasn;t much pace on Smallbone's pass into the middle, but it went nicely through and his shot could have been better, as he had plenty of time. Any one of these to go in please Saints... we're creating plenty of excellent opportunities. Smallbone and AA putting in a lot of yards as usual, giving us options.
  13. Nice to see AA put one in centrally too. A nice traditional set up and finish. Next time...
  14. Oooooh. Flag up. Lovely again.
  15. MartinBall at work again. Very slow build up, lots of passes. If anything, 2 of our players beign close to each other distracted one of theirs to create that space, and then it was a lovely through ball.
  16. Lovely from Saints. Lots of poessession. Lots, but eventually got the space to let Sulemana run in behind. Good enough pass from him, but attackers just a bit in front of it. Keen to see us continue to get forward with it, when we get the chances and not needlessly sit back.
  17. Occurrence
  18. Obviously retrospectively replaying all the games where there have been wrong decisions would be far too complicated. So focusing on the bestest, most special club and the huge number of injustices they have faced over the years should be the way to go.
  19. Last night: Distribution better first half than second. We're not trying to pass it out from the back quite so much, so he's getting in some longer passes. He's good at it. Lost full control of the ball. Didn't hesitate to get rid of it, which was the right thing to do, rather than faff about with it, and lose it. Got in a couple of saves. Got in at least one good punched clearance. Picked up a clean sheet bonus. He did fine.
  20. Congratulations, Mrs Thorn! It's an abomination! Damian's mother gets an early warning, after a surprising gender reveal from the scan.
  21. I think he said he lost his temper during 5 mins when training didn't go well. Martin being angry is probably nowhere near other managers. If it were the players would worry about a jeckyll and Hyde personality. But it did show that he's focused on developing them within a supporting environment, but also does have levels of harsher feedback, when required.
  22. Comments like that, from either side, just show how obsessed they are within their own bubble, and how tone deaf they are when it comes to realising the damage this nonsense can have on the people they are supposed to represent. It's one reason why Trump got the support he did, as his campaign focused on how broken they all sounded, and struck a chord with many who are sick of them.
