  1. I did notice that we played it sideways rather than take advantage of the intial good opportunity that was on. 🙂
  2. Chelsea got a penalty for something similar to nearly all of DCC's efforts.
  3. Bah! Wouldn't want those, what do you call them, strikers or attacking players that they have anyway. >sob< 🙂
  4. Someone (Perraud?) leggs sabotaged the rest of his body, rahter than get into space there. Elsewhere, Mo couldn;t get on the end of a delivery. Didn;t drive onto the ball to make it his.
  5. Aaargh.. AA with the ball. We know AA won;t take on his player. But we have a runner! But AA takes too long and any chance is gone. We are invariably slow in gettign passes away.
  6. remember. some of those pills might be addictive. Please read the labels. 🙂
  7. Saints determined to play it out from the back....Arsenal now in possession. >sigh<
  8. Decide not to pass it out form the back, so pass it out wide to Lyanco who just puts it out to touch... elsewhere, AA got confused when hitting the edge of their box and just tapped it away from himself. No desire to drive on and shoot. Looked immediately for support and fell apart when there wasn;t any. Not someone with a strikers' confidence.
  9. Yes! A Salisu throw in in early... here it comes... well, a shot out of it at least...
  10. Another answer is being taken over by a squillonaire and have a team full of superstars. Sure, Ralph would coach the creativity out of them and get rid of any independent voices, but it might be the answer for a little while. 🙂
  11. Ralph's surprise tactic didn't bother Arsenal much. But in RalphWorld there will be pats on the back for having changed it. More of the usual after that. We set up to close space between the lines (which we were rubbish at until we changed, and even then...) and contain them. As usual, we invite pressure and chances. There were some well timed blocks and a couple of last Arsenal touches that could have been more clinical. We did get a little of the ball. But Ralph's automatisms make them look like little robots, relaying on stock passes whether they work or not. There were at least 3 opportunities to pick out clear forward passes. On all 3, we chose to hit it back or to the side, rather than stretch our opponents. I feel for players like Stu and AA, having to work hard within their spaces, with creativity frowned upon. Despite being the better side, Arsenal still have to dive or fall over under some physical challenges.
  12. Lyanco tok care of that overlap nicely, and it's the whistle.
  13. Mo's pass was never reaching AA. He just did it because that what he thought he should do.
  14. >Whew< straight at Bazunu thankfully, or that was 2.
  15. I quite like him 🙂
  16. That was nearly a second. It's just a wild guess, but perhaps having a tctic that doesn't pick up runners and dropping deep to contain will allow them chances? I must be wrong. I'm sure Ralph will have picked up on that. 🙂
  17. Oh saints. a passing move where we really struggled to pick someone out, or pass to the recipient's advantage. Gave it away really quickly.
  18. Are we beating them on number of corners? Get in Saints! I see they've stopped the annoying ritual of bigging up JWP before he hits anything. The utter lack of output, form corners has finally sunk in.
  19. still annoyed we hold up the game for players to sort their boots. Perhaps there's some shopping they'd like to nip off and do, while we wait.
  20. The ref really didn;t need to get in the way of one of our passes. We've struggled to pick out a man all afternoon without his efforts.
  21. A corner! Get in Saints! A whole corner to us!
  22. Is it 3-0 now? They couldn't wait to see the back of him. 🙂
