As soon as I read Blackwood's The Willows! >Dumps data analysis book in bin< While it's still evolving, and with plenty of variables to capture, there are a number of very useful indicators from data analysis. Bazunu is going to be facing strikers with a generally lower level of decision making and shooting skill. Our defence should be a bit better against them too. He should have an easier time of it, which should help his confidence and development under Martin's system. But there is still the question over whether his positioning is good enough to stop shots from positions with a higher chance of going in, in either of the top divisions.

We'll finish second, if we don't win it. Like the other relegated teams, our resources are considerably larger. I think we're in as good a, if not better, place than them. We have a large squad, which at the start of the season should be good enough to get wins. When several depart, we've got enough depth, key targets in areas and the resources to get them to push on. The smaller squad will be a benefit then, as we've talented youngsters coming through too. The coaching team will know that they'll rarely have a better chance than this to do well with a club.

0-2 to Saints. A strong, early start gets us a lead. We just don't quite click to score more than a couple. Wednesday have to push. There's the odd moment where we don't clear our lines, along with mental fragility from last season. But we're fine and get a nice confidence boost from the win. Tomorrow's winning numbers will be...
