  1. Normally, I'd never wish harm on anyone. But I can't help willing a very small meteor to target him. To strike at 4:15am when he's bouncing out the house. The neighbours can all sleep on, undisturbed.
  2. Yeah it would suggest lower crowds. But then Saturday an and Sunday evening aren't great either. Perhaps there would be interest from people who don't go to many away games, but that's assuming the fixtures align nicely for you. Disappointing to see Hayes and Levy argue for a closed shop. The first response should be asking them if they mind Chelsea and Spurs dropping down a league before it's closed. I'm sure they'd see it differently.
  3. Farke spent his time at Norwich playing put from the back, regardless of outcomes. In the Championship, with decent attacking full backs, and when it was new, it went well. When they went up, teams shut down that space and he...played them in exactly the same way. It was infuriating to watch.
  4. I read this view earlier. It builds up to Farage half way https://wingsoverscotland.com/ruined-in-a-day/ Also something of a thread crossover event. Edit: Also on the Beeb a little later https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-66090522
  5. They've got to rebuild a team, and get them to gel. While we have the fighting spirit of the majority of our squad currently still...no...this point really isn't working at all... πŸ™‚
  6. Still making his way out of the dressing room, days after they packed it all away. πŸ™‚
  7. If only he'd had the option of playing regular first team football for a side a little lower down the league, to help his development at a good level.
  8. It's a simple system already in use in other sports...
  9. Normally, it's just the shirt I'd consider, but you've sold it to me this year. πŸ™‚
  10. Well, I'm glad they're dropping that mental format, which blatently favours the richest clubs, essentially rigging the competition and allowing them to hoover up talent. It's later than it should be, but this is a massive victory for fairness, transparency and the spirit of football.
  11. "Farewell, Mr Orsic. May you live in interesting times."
  12. I was hoping for more than such a brief announcement. Like some idea of why any of it happened.
  13. Oh, I don't know. Red and white... Saints All-Stars... Preseason tour of the USA. πŸ™‚
  14. And had Reading not been facing a winding up order, relegated, starting with a points deduction having an owner they want rid of, with late wages paid more than once then maybe...if he had a concussion through the negotiations and both his legs suddenly fell off. Otherwise, there surely has to be a better option for him.
