  1. Did he fall over before anyone else was 10 feet near the tunnel? I enjoyed Romeu's wind up a lot.
  2. I trust us to sort out our position at the end (not that you don't), and would be happy if Newcastle didn't pick up another point for the rest of the season.
  3. I don't think Salisu would want to be playing in the Championship next season, so he wouldn't go. (Fingers crossed for Newcastle dropping.)
  4. It's a bar so low a championship limbo dancer would fail at, but the sad mouths on telly and radio seem even more petulant when a big club don't win in recent times, than usual.
  5. Salisu contracted till 2024. I hope the club are working on an extension.
  6. Wow! Rode the waves of City attacks. Some great performances, again, right through the team.
  7. Uh oh free kick from deep...
  8. Great Salisu challenge!
  9. Oh give me strength VAR.
  10. No kidding.no pen. They certainly tried their best to find something.
  11. Oh get a grip VAR
  12. Yups nice to see some left back giving afters, keeping up the Benali/Dennis tradition. Watered down to today's rules anyway.
  13. Nooooooes!!!!
  14. Hoping this is a tactical physio on and nothing more. Yay, back on
  15. And nearly again. Never afoul on the keeper.
  16. Oooooh nearly Broja. Good Armstrong pass.
  17. I get the feeling he's following instructions there to keep the ball in certain areas to maintain shape. Unfortunately, a couple of times when relieving the pressure with an easier forward ball might have been the better option. also think Perraud looked a little knackered at the end, clearing to him being conservative. Crumbs. Two Redmond posts in a row from me. #Redmondfanclub
  18. Redmond did some good covering for Perraud and ran in swiftly to put off a City shot. So plenty of pluses in there for sure. Did he get an assist too?
  19. Whew! Happy to hear the whistle. Cracking team performance.
  20. Crumbs, the government have worked bloomin' hard to ensure that tannoy announcements in trains have been reduced and now this?! They can't get a break. You lot were mean to Salmon on that other thread, while I made sure to get a place in his rich pal's survival rocket into space. #whenworldscollide
  21. The thread I think of whenever a team gets a couple of wins to pull themselves out of the relegation zone. Just the thing to get a bit of perspective, and shake off any stray gloomy thoughts. Thanks Minsk, and I hope you're getting better.
  22. Watford looked far more likely in the first half. But didn't really create much. There was a João Pedro shot, when King was in the middle in a far better position. The two had a bit of shouting between them, and that was that for them. One Norwich goal was a super finish by Sargent when the pass was behind him, the second Watford were in a slump for and the third was an own goal. Neither team looked that good.
  23. Watford looked to have given up after the first goal. Even then, Norwich gave them a hand late on when Gunn had a mix up with a defender and Watford had one disallowed. I like Norwich, and it would be lovely to see Alex Crook have to make grovelling apology after his comments about them, should they stay up. I think teams around them have games in hand, so getting out of the bottom 3 might be short lived.
  24. Valentine
