Interesting. No question that Manning's goals and delivery have been important. He's had a number of excellent defensive moments too. Like a lot of the team, I think there are factors that give everyone a boost. Larin, and LND's return, giving us a different option up front Tonda tactics, with clarity, and directness Still struggled with. Peretz making us a lot more confident at the back. For Manning, Bree's return really helps our defense as a unit. It allows Manning to finally have that more forward role he had at Swansea. KWP stopped him having it here. And as mentioned, Welington being fit enough to challenge, but not fit enough to keep a place. Good to see so many different players getting plaudits.

40 years is long enough to now give someone else a title. But even this has only been possible because Rangers had a takeover then reboot with Russ, and Celtic followed suit with Nancy as manager. Hopefully Celtic will have a stumble, as I think they play Hearts on the final day...checks...yup. Hearts have Motherwell, then Falkirk, then Celtic. A league win this season, and then even more success under Bloom would be excellent for that league.

Some of those Moyes quotes were from an article earlier in the season. There, without Osman's positivity around them, it was a stark warning to Dibling to improve, or get left behind. Moyes was saying that having the club bring in a loan player ahead of you, should be a massive warning. And that Dibling should be asking a lot of questions about where he had to improve. I thought we got a good deal for him. £35million to invest elsewhere. His post Martin form wasn't great, and he wasn't having an impact. Obviously, it's ridiculously competitive in the PL. Not just in physical and mental resilience. But in learning, adapting and fitting into a new environment, coaching, and set of demands. Often against where your strengths lie. That makes quite a difference in broad parties. Then you have to check to make sure the people you thought you were voting for haven't formed a new party or defected to another one. Then check to see which fringe outcasts and hate mongers have been infiltrating your party of choice, and see what they're likely to get away with, in all the in fighting and possible coalitions ahead. All for the privilege of being disappointed by their conduct, ability and delivery of anything except failure.
