  1. Of course we would. You could stick anyone on this forum in charge and we’d be no worse… it’s that bad. We’d still have gone down under Ralph as well though. The Rot started with him.

Such a waste of 6weeks. We had a great opportunity to get someone in to work and improve the squad. At the very worse, we could have waited and appointed someone following the World Cup. why did we appoint Jones when we did. It simply doesn’t make sense.
  3. This is the issue. Under Ralph we had a pretty solid ‘plan A’, until that was sussed out. Our problem was the lack of ‘plan B’ Jones doesn’t even have a plan A. It’s hit and hope stuff. What is he doing on the training ground.

Much, Much worse. Big Sam, with the right players, doesn’t actually play that bad a style of football. He adapts the the circumstances he’s in. Id have either of them with a drop of a hat tomorrow. Not the time to be fussy.

I’m loathed to personally insult him, it’s not his fault he was appointed as our manager. I do agree he is a terrible manager though with no tactics. If Rasmus has anything about him, he’ll pull the trigger this week. if we were playing well but not winning you could understand persisting, were not. We’re absolutely dreadful. He simply has to go.

We’ve got worse, somehow. We have no style, no identity. We don’t defend and don’t attack. We literally just hit the ball long and hope for the best. I agree managers need time, but this is Sunday league shit. So bad it’s beyond belief. If someone genuinely watched a Jones team and thought he was a good candidate, then they shouldn’t be anywhere near a football club.
  7. I don’t reckon he fancies it tbh. Don’t blame him either.
  8. It’s so poor it’s beyond belief. their goal was so predictable as well.
  9. More than most in this squad Tbf
  10. For all our fault at the back and poor managers over the past year, Adams Tops the pile of “our biggest issue”.
  11. Jones’ ball really is a terrible watch, isn’t it.
  12. Back 3 lavia holding JWP Moi ahead of them 2 up top Similar to how Jones set up at Luton, I wonder if he’s been restricted in this given the absence of Lavia.
  13. Not fully fit, I’m told. Apparently hasn’t been consistently training with the squad.
  14. Any player that may have a slight interest in coming here certainly won’t when they watch us play tonight…
  15. When is Jones next press conference? I can’t wait for the “we’re working on a few deals but January is a tough market”
  16. The Southampton way
  17. Came the the realisation that Larios is way to small to cut it in the PL?
  18. If I’ve learnt anything about this club in recent years it’s, if you see a name or a few names linked, instantly rule them out. If you start to see the same name cropping up for a few weeks, you’re not getting anyone.
  19. Sounds like it. Tbh, the way the club is being ran at the minute, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re searching through the #saintsfc hashtag on Twitter to find potential candidates
  20. Swing Lowe, swing Rupert Lowe…. How long before Martin, Rasmus and co. Get their own song.
  21. Ings isn’t coming back, simply will not happen.
  22. In times like these, I really wish we still had Osvaldo playing for us. An absolute shit house, who’d have ruffled up the dressing room and added a bit of aggression to our bunch of pansies, but was a bloody brilliant player. I could imagine him and Jones would have got on like a house on fire.

Who on earth did he think we had that was going to get us £20m+, ffs. Who are these idiots running our club.
  24. Given Jones apparent strength is working with an ‘underdog’, i really don’t think he’s the right man even if we go down. As for the squad, we have a core of players whom should be good enough for the play offs, if we add in the right places. we have some players, Lyanco, Bednerak, AMN who’d I’d not even want in the championship. We should be able to generate some decent money, even if a reduced fee, for the likes of KWP, Salisu, ABK, DCC, JWP At a minimum, we need an older experienced head and leader (think Cahill at Bournemouth) at CB and CM. Tella, Armstrong, Edozie, Adams should be more than enough up top for the championship. Even Djenepo and Diallo would be good enough squad players at that level. I think we’d need to bounce right back though or we’ll be right in the shit. Personally, I see us being more of a Swansea than Norwich.
  25. He’s just had 6 weeks to work with the squad to implement his style. We look worse now than before. We have bunch of absolute wankers that play for us, the gave up under Ralph because they didn’t like him. Jones had no chance of winning them over.
