  1. Apparently affecting contactless payments too. Could something similar affect digital ticketing or is the tech different?
  2. Not huge amounts left from the 3 initial blocks on sale. Presumably they'll add another one tomorrow. Bit rubbish that the highest qualifying people end up with the worst choice of seats.
  3. Cheers. Might be the fact I have a ST as to why I can't see them. Seems a bit unusual that they don't have a page listing all of them though. I'm sure they normally do?
  4. Can't seem to find the full list of match day prices on the OS. Anyone able to link?
  5. On sale tomorrow starting at 5+ aways - https://www.southamptonfc.com/en/newcastle-vs-southampton Curious that we've gone for the full allocation 'subject to demand of initial sales'. Club must be feeling confident on back of away numbers last season and the high ST sales.
  6. The one 3 years ago was the first one in 55 years.
  7. I think it's each to their own really. I'm the opposite to you in that I've never lost a season ticket but lose/break at least 2 phones a year while out on the beer! I don't think anyone doubts the benefits the club receive from it but I don't think they all benefit the customers too. You mention a good point on sharing season tickets - will this still be possible? Or will holders be threatened with losing them if they hit a certain amount of games they pass on? I'm not too arsed about it personally as this was inevitable and most people are glued to their devices anyway. I just think the charge isn't fair especially with the wooly "case by case" but I'll still pay it if I have to.
  8. Yeah the charge is a bit naughty in my book. Wonder what criteria they will use in deciding whether to apply it or not. I think the vast majority of people would go digital so there's no reason they couldn't have offered the card as an option at point of sale.
  9. I'm surprised you've gone with the app. Thought you'd go with a physical card given your opposition to this move.
  10. Don't get the moaning about this to be honest. There's still an option to get a card should you want one which is what I shall be doing.
  11. Isn't our limit less than £105m? That's based on 3 years at £35m a season but we'll be allowed less for the championship season so the threshold will be considerably lower than that figure. This is what happened with Forest I believe.
  12. They went unbeaten at home in final season though so we were the last team to win there in penultimate game of 15/16.
  13. I always use this - https://www.premierleague.com/news/4039904 Not perfect but generally accurate enough as a guideline.
  14. Yeah imagine speculating on a football forum.
  15. Well he only played 845 minutes last season so I expect it'll be less than that this one coming. I suspect we'll see him off the bench for 10-15 minute cameos much more than he'll start games.
  16. Playing 60 minutes per game seems incredibly optimistic given how often he played last season
  17. A bit rubbish that the DD option ends this week when loads more seats might yet become available.
  18. You get the season ticket value rather than the match day value. Or at least I'm sure I did when I did it last season.
  19. They give you the amount of your season ticket per match I think. So total cost divided by 23.
  20. I'm sure I did a couple of times this season but also remember being redirected when trying at Cardiff match. Don't recall the United trouble.
  21. I imagine that for some games you'll be able to walk round still but others it will be blocked off. Same with the Northam now. In terms of the noise re digital tickets has everybody missed that the FAQs say cards will still be available for those who require them? Presumably with a few attached.
  22. Website seems to say that any new members must have already had a supporter number to qualify.
  23. Would be amazing if it was scrapped but very little chance of that happening I suspect.
  24. Not enough Grimsby fans and inflatable fish.
  25. Weren't we 2-0 up when he made that save? Bit of a stretch to say we'd have lost.
