Agree with all the sentiments above. Definitely got the touch and skills that takes him a class above. Work rate wise, not sure what people are seeing as I see him cover lots of ground and help the team out defensively too.

How does the lino not catch that?
-
After the deflected goal in, I thought his head would drop and he'd have a nightmare. However he definitely recovered well after only been around two days. Bodes well for future games.

Yes, well done for Fellows. That'll do him a world of good. Pleased for him. Since the Millwall goal, Saints have been on top. Back to the we played last season. Great to see.
-
Maybe a 3 man midfield today?
-
Ok, you think it's just the manager's choice for him not playing.
-
I wonder if he'll apologise for not playing. As Watkins has....just before his move.
-
Wow, I was expecting something completely different but that is shocking that he didn't know what that building was. Sad thing is, I'm pretty certain a lot of teens to 20 somethings wouldn't have a clue too.

Will be a tough game. Really need to get back to the more direct play we had in the second half of the season. Unfortunately neither Wood nor Stephens is as adept as THB on the ball and we've ended up losing the ball a lot.

That's nuts. Shows how Brexit was a massive cluster fuck

Don't bring her to the game. Easy!

The Northam Catering on Saturday

Yeah, a steward said to me that there would be a new bag policy too but didn't mention any details. If it's like that, that's just stupid. -
The midfield was too lightweight tonight. Romeo was not used enough in the middle, there were a couple of occasions where he got the ball early and was able to drive forward but that was it. Stephens, just poor. Not cut out for the role that THB was doing. Fellows, I don't get it. Yes, he takes man or two with him but what is the end result. Desperately need a commanding centre back or two.

Terrible event. Especially for the police officers that died and the sadness for their families. Meanwhile the people driving the car, seems like more and more is being released of them being absolute scrotes.
-
Yes, great goal yesterday. Seems to be doing well. In hindsight, easy to say that the club messed up by selling him but at the time Saints were stocked with forwards and he was coming back from injury. Definitely can question whether Saints could have put a bid in this summer but would have wanted to come back.
-
In fairness Tony Mowbray is a solid manager working with a limited budget. Had two tough fixtures and got 4 points off the bat. No way Saints should take them lightly.
-
Agree, seems like he has benefited from a week's worth of training. His movement did look better compared to the week before. Hopefully a good sign for future games.
-
Oh dear. The Leicester fans weren't happy after the final whistle on the highlights.

Scienza had an off day. Midfield is light without Jander, definitely need someone in alongside Downes. Downes - another good game doing a lot of work by himself. Good fast transition for the first goal. That's what we were doing last season and need to get back to that. Mubama, liked his movement when he came on. Hopefully that will get better and nice goal. Edozie, personally think he can do something at this level and won the penalty.

At the game today and it's a little bit like the first half against Watford. Scored a decent goal on the break but other than that it's been a bit meh. Not sure about the tactics from the goal kicks. Feels like Saints just give the ball away.
-
Oh dear. Surely the club would have foreseen some team coming in for THB and prepped for it. Have to hope Stephens doesn't repeat last week and Wood steps up.

Lights were a mess all over Soton yesterday. Took me 20 minutes to go from Jury's Inn, past the civic centre down past the train station as the lights seemed whack.

After the excitement of getting down to the stadium for the first game of the season and the result being shitty.

The football being back on, anticipation of the first game at the stadium and going down to watch it.
