Was at the game with my son. Saints played superbly. Tactics were spot on and every player put a shift in. Love seeing goals for Saints on the counter attack. Atmosphere was great with all sides contributing. Leo Scienza had White for breakfast today!

What did he say?

Definitely a possibility. Bring the same attitude and work rate for the Coventry and Norwich games and we'd get a result. Catching Hull is a good target to aim for.
-
Pipe dream mate. Ipswich have 2 games in hand and every other result ain't gonna go our way for the last 6/7 set of fixtures.
-
Frustrating to say the least.

Definitely agree with social media etc making it easier to do things like this. Some pepper spray should sort them out or make the parents culpable in some form. The M&S director has a point, police are seemingly letting petty theft pass, leading to more people becoming emboldened to do more.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm25yv7z3jko Absolute cu**s. Got nothing better to do, know there will be few consequences apart from the ones caught and where are the parents in all this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crk16j2j1ygo A M&S boss has a point.

Still annoying to me. Rather than go for the Italians England retreated. Italians must have done some blood sacrificing for that game!

Absolute clusterf**k of a situation.

I stand corrected. Still pony to say that the then coalition was immeasurably more competent and less sleazy than Labour. There was plenty of shite in the coalitions first 14 months.
-
Biggest load of ol' pony I've seen on ere for awhile. Comparing 14 months of Labour to 14 years of Tories and saying Labour are a lot worse.
-
Ticket confirmations have turned up in my app. Phew.

Is Rento Takoaka a decent prospect? He's still quite young but wonder could he step up?

Keeping Track of the Contracts 2025-26

Hopefully Saints will extend Bree's contract. No brainer to do so, as I'd imagine he's not so expensive and would be useful in this division again. I'm hoping Charles will sign an extension otherwise he'll be sold in the summer. Edozie, interesting one. His contract ends next year. I still think there is a decent player there and he has been showing glimpses of it since the new year. -
It was very telling, that after the 3-0 Leicester game (I think it was this game). A couple of players effectively said this outright in the post match interviews.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c7478jx102yo They're taking the Saints game seriously. How many drop outs for the internationals?!
-
Interesting read. Do think people are going to take umbrage due to the use of pivots, low blocks and mid blocks though!
-
Definitely getting the team to tick along. If he's a pragmatic sort, then I'm all for it. Showed his mettle with the wins over Coventry an Norwich and made the Oxford game comfortable. If he can do the same with team against Wrexham and Derby that would be amazing. I will add, I was frustrated after his initial run of games with the terrible form over the Xmas period and thought here we go again and he'snot up to it. However the team is showing consistency. More results against the teams above Saints please! Also can see that the players are getting more comfortable with their roles compared to what was happening under Still.
-
Yep agree. I had my doubts but he's doing a decent job since being here. Just shows that Saints haven't had a decent big man striker for awhile (Stewart aside and being injured) since Adams who can hold up play etc.
-
I hope not!

Best Saints goal you have ever seen live?
JohnnyShearer2.0 replied to Lymington Saint's topic in The Saints
JRod was really becoming a decent player I feel before his injury. He still had a good career but definitely think doing his knee in etc curtailed it a bit. -
Shame west ham are losing too. Spurs being relegated would be funny.

Agree with this. Yes, Bazunu was a contributing factor but it was an all round shit from everyone. 5 at the back as well against Oxford and then no-one booting the Oxford player who ran the length of the pitch. Worse was Archer who just jogged with him
