Yep, agree with the above. Really has knuckled down and got on with defending. A settled back line helps and you can see the impact of the coaching.

Telling again on how the players always reference him post match with them saying Tonda has made a difference. Also another grounded outlook from him in his own post match interview.

Aye, I said earlier in the season, that this season is him getting use to the Championship. Next season he should improve a lot further and will be useful.

The run over Easter has been good. Has kept the team going and refreshing or tweaking per each game. Doing a good job.

Shea Charles looked like he was running in mud. Looked gassed straight away to me. Wonder if Matsuki and Edozie will start this one.

A lot of the players seem a bit off today. Think Stewart got hurt in the face missed it at the game but could see when he came over it looked swollen.

Agreed here. If Tonda was appointed in the summer there would have been a melt down on here. Myself included! Still talked a good game with a pragmatic style but the job was too much. I wonder how quickly Tonda would have got Saints going if he was in charge in the summer. Either way he got time to assess the players etc during Stills tenure.

Hope Tonda has the team focused and ready to go again. Not seen much of them so cant comment on what they're like. Saints have dealt with all sorts of teams recently so hopefully they'll be canny enough to do the business tomorrow.

Yep agree. It wasn't his best BUT you could see the effort and willingness. And before the goal, to take advantage of thier slow pass was excellent. Other teams have done it to Saints numerous times over the years, so nice to see the opposite! The goal was cracking too.

Really seems to have the players on board. Tweaks between games and keeps everyone focused.

Tonda and the players are really ticking along now. I thought that they may be tired from the Arsenal game but rotating the players has worked with the players all seemingly being on board with it. Larin - blows hot and cold. He's like 70% / 30% player - where the 30% is all thats needed! Edozie didn't really get into the game BUT gave it a good go. The rest, all, again really good.
