Unfortunately everyone is howling at the moon at this point. Successive governments have not done enough to discourage illegal immigration and the UK has built up a reputation as a soft place to come. With gangs and agents fueling immigrants coming over it's led to this point. Doesn't help either with the advent of Brexit and then the subsequent actions of the Tories as they bowed out. As much as I dislike the US and it's ICE program and the way it's being carried, on some level I'm thinking it must be sending out a message at some level to potential illegal immigrants. It's here that the narrative needs to change.

That was a horrendous game. The performance came out of nowhere and little did we know that was just the start. Something changed.

Disagree, it's a mixed bag of opinions. I'm not being disingenuous some are questioning the signing already which is their opinion. Is Blackmore anymore in the know than House? Who knows? Personally feel that Blackmore just sees the negative in Saints more than others.

Does he though? From the comments on here it's the impression I get. You say no one has written off Dobbin. But plenty on the Dobbin thread questioning what was the point of buying him. Don't think I'm being ridiculous, more of a case it's been one game and he was played on the left instead of in the middle.

Why do people think Blackmore has anymore insights than the rest of us? I find him always a little negative and it's crazy to write off Dobbin after one game.

Interesting, when I did it for Stoke, there was no option for my son. Unless they haven't linked his membership properly. Will try again for another game.

I thought he showed some neat touches and beat the opposition a couple of times. Definitely think he's better off in the middle. Didn't the PNE fans say that? Will come good I reckon.

Certainly handled teams like this in the second half of last season. Have you forgotten that? Watford capitalised on two mistakes, Saints were bad in the first half. But improved in the second. Let's see what happens versus Stoke.

In fairness Saints did that to plenty of teams in the second half of the season. As others have said, the two mistakes killed us and Watford pressed well against our playing out from the back.

Watford had Saints number in the first half. Should have changed it up earlier as the possession based football did not work.

Started off brightly. Showing glimpses of good passing but Watford were heavy in the early tackles. Trying to play from the back but Watford are resetting quickly. Two goals from Saints errors with Watford capitalising really well in fairness.
