I'm guessing his bank balance is a lot healthier though.

Which way is the payment going?

Don't hold your breath. They have no allegiance to the city, don't particularly respect the fans and may likely realise football club ownership isn't for them. If Dragan is a successful business man, he may well know when to cut his losses and head for the hills. He'll know things could get worse from here. He had investment risk when he bought in January last year. I'd say his investment risk is much higher now.

You thinking Adams and Armstrong? They may have been championship quality 3 seasons ago, they've regressed since. Adams can't hit a barn door, not sure how that changes in the championship? I have no confidence those two would get the goals needed for promotion.

Will season ticket prices be released now and will you renew?

I doubt Rotherham, Hull and Preston away will sell out to ST holders. -
Needed some contrition to win over fans, something like - some players have not performed to the level we expect. We will realign our playing staff with our expectation for commitment. Expect notable departures and new experienced talent recruitment - as owners, we haven't made wise decisions. It's clear we underestimated what's involved. We will change our approach. New strategy, new drive, no hiding. - we've taken fans for granted too much. We will involve them more in what we do and listen to them. - our academy has lapsed .... - our managerial turnover and culture isn't fit for purpose ... - our club philosophy has got lost ... - 50% reduction for season ticket holders who stay with us. That's OUR committee to YOU.

Got chatGPt written all over it.

Probably and not a chance. Without seeing some drastic overhaul, all I see is another season like this. With travel, food and 8 away games etc, I think this season cost me about £2k for me and an U18. Value for money ... lol Only memorable thing was being front row for the Chelsea away win. For some reason we went today. I'll see how the new season goes first and we'll come along to a few matches ad-hoc. -
Indeed. He'll get found out at a top 6 club and be a bench warmer. Terrific loyalty, fitness and service. Mid to lower premiership player IMO. Our 'reset' in the championship needs a different leader.

The clubs should put it in their contracts. They are are at work and those fans are 'customers'. £80 odd K a week and can't be bothered to make some kid's day with a selfie or autograph.

I don't think so. Just over a year ago Semmons laid that out on the infamous R5 interview and we've been dreadful ever since It said to the players, 'you're just assets in our business model'. While that's always true and always has been for anyone outside the top 6, I don't think it's a coincidence that the drop in form followed. There doesn't seem to be that 'we're here for the club and the fans'. Nope, its turned into 'we're here for us'. Many of these players won't care that the team is relegated, they will get sold and picked up anyway. It's a club sport, not an individual one. Successful teams (and by that I mean staying the premiership) need to have a collective fighting spirit and something about fighting for the badge and community they serve. I think that left the club last March and along with a few other failures has led to where we are. That strategy and culture won't work for a championship team and certainly won't lead to promotion.

I think he needs to go and would like to see him depart. Its time.

That's how you do a 'must win' game. Forest I mean.

Final corner, can't get it in the air

AMN rounds off his performance with a pass to the keeper

Crap penalty decision, but hey.

Bargain

Wasn't a season ticket holder last time went down. What kind of percentage reduction we looking at?
-
We got this.

Tall Paul on ... let's do a short corner.

I have to say this relegation has been very well earned. Everyone from the boardroom, to the management and the players on the pitch have made it happen. No shirkers here, they've all put in a shift. Can't think of a team thats deserved it more for a long time. Whevenever there's been a glimpse of survival they've done what's necessary to keep that relegation a formality. Roll on league one. Can't see anything about the club not making that a reality in a years' time.
-
Of course it was relevant. Had forest lost and we win tomorrow, we'd have been 3pts behind them. If others around us fail to pick up points, then less points could see us stay up. Bleeding obvious isn't it. Eg Arsenal imploding the past few games. I will agree that it's highly unlikely we'll stay up though.
-
I forgot, relegation rivals collecting points is no bad thing.

Brighton helping us on our way. FFS

I get the going to 5 at the back at HT, but Alcaraz? High on confidence, playing well and driving the team. For me, I'd have hooked Ely, Walcott or AA and left the threat on the pitch. Bizarre sub.
