Great news.

Very disappointing to lose the lead, especially with Reading winning but it is still in our own hands admittedly with a bit more pressure on us. A win against Barnsley and everything could have changed - who knows what Reading will do vs Leicester? Its in our own hands..don't panic just yet everyone there is a long old way to go.

For goodness sake, last week it was Birmingham who were going to win the league at a canter with us dropping down into the playoffs and now they are 5th and we are top! I swear that there has to be one 'unstoppable' challenger from below otherwise this forum would go into some kind of melt down. Yes last night was very disappointing given that Reading won, but there is still a long way to go. We are still in the driving seat and if we do our job properly then we will go up in the top 2. Teams will come at us and then fade away like Brum did, but there have only been 2 teams consistently up there for the majority of the season and they are us and WHU. Who would have thought Brum would lose to Forest and then throw away a 2 goal lead at home to Derby - it just shows ANYTHING can happen in this league. I'd much rather have our run in than Reading's and I'm confident (touch wood) that they will drop points, just like Brum have done recently. No doubt if Boro or Blackpool come roaring back at the expense of Reading they will be likely league winners whilst we lose in the playoffs.... We will be fine.

2-0 Cardiff so poor don't know why we were worried. God I hate west ham

How many games have we dominated away this season and come back empty handed? Today was the complete opposite! As has been said the stuff of champions and very much like mk dons last season. KD was simply unbelievable, me and my mates were commenting today before the game how he might not be prem quality. Almost fate that he proved us wrong today. Great goal by Rickie, who cares how many chances you create when we have sir rick to bang in our only chance
-
One of the biggest moments of the season is perhaps a slight exaggeration!
-
Sharp to start I hope, if we persevere he will come good and we are rattling them in since he's been in the side. Dropping him after 3 appearances will do us and him no favours at all.
-
Really liked Harding last season, thought he was one of our best players. However, Fox is a step up in terms of quality. Whenever Harding has played at LB recently we haven't played well at all.

Works perfectly fine on my Macbook and don't remember really having to install anything specific.

What a day - 4-0 and back to our best it would seem! Glad to hear Jos is ok, hope the same is true of Billy (just because he missed a chance against WHU and Tad scored does not mean he isn't extremely important to us - I reckon he'll continue to be first choice for a while longer) Agree with those saying that we are actually much better squad wise now then when we got to the top earlier in the season. We've turned it around at just the right time it seems and with all these options on the bench I'd hope we're going to go on another run and reach the promised land. Come on boys! We can do it!
-
Sharp will start I reckon. Although NA is loyal to Connolly he is to Sharp as well having worked with him before - he knows what Sharp can do and will give him the time to show us.
-
But according tO big Sam and some random twitter journalist sharp is a cheat? Don't think so. Clear red, should be banned for more than 3 IMO - that's borderline assault grabbing someone by the neck.
-
Ok I take your point, but 15 minutes of dominance at the beginning of a game for the home side who are top is hardly surprising! We don't know what would have happened if it had stayed 11 v 11. We would probably have got a foothold regardless of the sending off.
-
The fact is, we weren't poor we just didn't have our shooting boots on. They were poor - the report seems to forgive them for this despite the fact one of their players was sent off for violent conduct. Its not an injustice or something which should be forgiven. Its poor that one of their players can lose their cool in such a huge game. If anyone was poor, it was the Hammers not us but this hasn't been mentioned at all in the report.
-
Exactly. What about the fact that we dominated the game? To blame Sharp is also ridiculous. A bad miss yes, but we had chances after that and so did they. There was a long long way to go when he missed and to say we definitely would have won but for that is wrong.
-
Definitely hope we keep faith with Sharp - if we do we'll reap the rewards soon enough.

Just got back from the game so here's how I saw it: I thought they came out of the traps flying and we were lucky not to be behind. The penalty was a strange one, didn't really see it but the reaction of the players made us all think it was a bit dubious. Don't know what people are talking about re the Sharp and Taylor incident, that one I did see clearly and it was a blatant red. After going behind we absolutely dominated, Adam came into the middle and dictated the play (I'm starting to think we should start with the diamond) - Guly covered a lot of ground and was a lot better than I'd expected but wasn't very effective attacking wise. Punch looked good when he came on I thought and should have started. Should have been level at half time, such a shame Billy didn't tuck away the chance, hope it doesn't knock his confidence or that he is dropped next game as before the miss I thought he was playing well. The best partner for Lambo by a mile, strong, can hold it up, makes intelligent runs and a good turn of pace. Once one goal comes, he'll rattle them in! Only disappointment was that after the miss it looked like he was playing with a few more nerves etc. In the second half, we had almost all the possession and the goal was well deserved. The real mistake we made was not getting it to Fox and Richardson quickly enough as they were in acres of space. We played it down the middle far to often. That being said, we squandered chances from so many balls into the box it was really frustrating. Green also had a good game, the double save from Lallana/Sharp and then the one from Rickie really kept them in it. Had we scored then I think we'd have gone on to win fairly comfortably. Overall I was impressed with the manner of our performance but there were times when we took the wrong option and looked a bit lethargic with some misplaced passes etc which could have cost us. Happy with a point as I'd have taken it before the game, but in light of events at the game I'm disappointed we didn't take all three.
-
Exactly this. With our team/squad we should not be scared of anyone - especially if we play like we know we can.
-
With Guly its a case of when he's playing well he is absolutely brilliant and everything comes off for him, whereas when he's playing badly he's just awful. That being said, he's well worth a place in the team and has been absolutely crucial to us this season - anyone who says different is just plain wrong imo. However, I do think there are some away fixtures where he isn't suited and should perhaps drop to the bench (Pompey away being a prime example but we didn't have the depth we do now to change it round) - wouldn't be surprised to see him make way for Puncheon on Tuesday but if he did start I'd have faith that he could do a good job.
-
So excited for this one. Would hope we keep the same team or close enough too it. Not sure its the right kind of game for Guly on the right though so wouldn't be too disappointed to see Punch in on the right and Guly dropping to the bench. We can win this one - the confidence is back after today and if Billy and Rickie continue to play like they did today then we'll cause them so real problems.
-
also can't believe people continually have it in for Danny Fox too. He's far far better than Harding. Whenever Harding plays we don't play well.
-
Huge result - sounded a great performance as well. A great time for us to play the Hammers now --> back to the top we go!
-
Winners. Coyr lets smash the hammers now

Hammond on for Guly.
