Two goals yesterday and some wouldn't include sharp in their lineups?
-
Well put, a win would have papered over the cracks BUT crucially we would have been 6 points clear of the hammers so statistically we would have had a better chance of going up.... I've now calmed down and realise the result isn't too bad, just worry about the impact of this game going forward both psychologically and with Morgan's injury
-
And what a surprise the ref didn't see it. Absolute filth I agree.
-
Flawed logic, Pompey got beat 5-1 at home last game but we couldn't put them away. Doesn't mean anything.
-
But the point is, we are top of the table yet were so poor. They are bottom And far exceeded their usual level of performance. They wanted it more than us. So disappointing. So gutted
-
Absolutely bottled it today. All this carp on here about "new" saints being better and not bottling it...what a joke. We were poor today and they were good value for at least a point. Expecting us to blow promotion now, if we can't raise our game for the biggest home game for the fans then what confidence should we have for the next five "cup finals". Especially with spiderman Injured, this could be the game that ruins it all.

I don't know Barnsley don't look too bad in possession.
-
Oh bloody hell. Dreadful defending. Not our day today is it? Hate it when our rivals play first.
-
The bit about them battering Reading makes absolutely no sense. A Reading win was what we all wanted. West Ham will drop points I think.
-
Barnsley were quite decent at our place I thought...and everyone wants to beat West Ham at home this season - the most high profile game.
-
Well we can win all our games meaning they won't win all their games.
-
Looked a foul by Roberts there too. He really is a dirty player been at it all game
-
Oh **** off reading. Such a horrible **** club with terrible fans
-
Commentators so ridiculous - so pro Reading is laughable. How on earth could anyone think that wasn't a foul on the keeper? You clearly can't knee them in the midriff to get them to spill the ball.
-
Are you sure? According to BBC they only make 3 changes and 2 of those are due to suspensions...so don't think the 7 missing players is true at all.
-
Exactly what I came on this thread to say. I think some people on here are way over reading this apparent 'conspiracy theory'. They've released the news to calm the fans nerves after a heavy defeat last time out and ahead of a game we are all nervous about. Doesn't matter what the Pompey camp know/don't know they have limited resources and the same players would be in the team regardless of who was up front for us. Lets stop over thinking things.
-
Some people are never happy...I seriously doubt Saints are this elaborate in their mind games. If there hadn't been any news then you'd be saying that was a bad sign and Lambert was definitely out.
-
As close to definite as you can be, especially with what Solent tweeted. What are you expecting the OS to say? "Rickie Lambert will definitely be in the team on Saturday"? I think they are slightly more tactful than that.
-
Seriously, what is the point in these ridiculous threads? Are some fans trying to deliberately jinx us? There's a long way to go - and even if we were promoted threads like this are utterly pointless...
-
They just use it for web browsing, emails and a bit of Picasa photo uploading etc. Nothing major.

The parents are after a new PC as the old one has packed up. Does have any decent desktop recommendations for around £300-400. Wouldn't need a monitor as they already have one. A decent warranty would also be preferable. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful, don't really know much about PCs now as have switched to Mac, but think that might be a bit out of their price range.

How are you more worried now than a few weeks ago? We have only been in so strong a position for about a week. We are unbeaten in 11 games, 5 points clear of WHU and Reading with only 6 games to go. They are playing each other at the weekend so any result will disadvantage one of them and thus give us a boost. Blackpool will be tough but we've gotten through tougher games this season. If anything, I'm becoming increasingly more confident about our chances, with every game that goes past it becomes one less game available for us to be caught up. As for knowing the result before kick off, I on the other hand think its great because the players will know what they have to do and will raise their game as they have done so brilliantly this season. Now is not the time for panicking, WHU and Reading would kill to be in our shoes right now.
-
Not the best result for us but at the end of the day I was expecting WHU to win this one. With reading and WHU playing each other at the weekend we have got an advantage as one of them will drop points. We are still in the driving seat.
