Does anybody know how many bookings he got in the first half of the season at Palace ? I.e. is he anywhere near getting 10 before the Charlton game. He has been booked one for us, and i thought he got close to a second last night but the Ref showed some common sense which alot of others Refs don't. Equally, are any of the other new players (Dan S or Jason etc) anywhere near 10 booking from their previous clubs ?
  2. Last night's Radio Solent program can be heard again here :- http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p006mycr/Portsmouth_FC_Special_26_02_2010/ The bit that interested me was around 14:20 -> 18:00ish that talked about the 2 votes for a CVA. IMO I still think that Gaydamak + Chainrai are working together and are going to stitchup both votes to get the CVA (1p in the pound ?). They will then either get a higher return on the land sales (150% of value)to make up their losses, or obtain the club on the cheap with zero penalty points next season.
  3. I missed part of the radio solent. There was somebody who said something about the CVA having 2 votes. The first vote is about getting 75% of ALL the creditors and if as some of us think that Gaydamak + Chainari are working together, they would leave the HMRC with less than 25%. However, he said there is a second vote with a 50% limit of all "non-associated" (??) creditors. There was then something about who the non-associated creditors are ? I then missed the next five mins Did anyone hear the full details.
  4. 1/ The Skates only started playing because their previous club was found guilty of breaking FA rules in 1897. (It would seem that a hundred years ago the "Amateur Status" was more important than NOT paying the Tax Man today. Perhaps the F.A. had some balls then). 2/ The FA have to change the rules of the game "to prohibit the handling of the ball outside the prescribed area", because their gk decided to cheat. 3/ They even try and nick a Saint player (C B Fry) and pass him off as one of their "famous players" even though he played 90% of his career for us. What is it with the Skates, they see a rule and try to work out how to break it. (Don't pay the Tax Man; Welcome an Arms Dealer; etc etc.). I fully expect them to try to break the rules about Admin and exit it next year with no penalty points with somebody like Robert Mugabe in charge. (From a 1935 Book)
  5. Radio Solent said at 5:30 that the administrators will be from UHY - Hacker Young from London E1 something. I assume they mean these people ? http://www.uhy-uk.com/pages/people/london.php Does anyone remember when "junior" took over there were reports that something like 6 out of his previous 7 companies had gone bust. Did they call in administrators ? and if so which ones ?
  6. I've just logged onto my Account to check something and i noticed that the only tickets being offered online now are :- Wembley Blocks 548-550 - £24 Wembley Blocks 128-131 - £34 Wembley Blocks 524-527 - £34 Wembley Blocks 532-537 - £24 Wembley Blocks 538-541 - £24 Wembley Blocks 542-547 - £24 Wembley Blocks 528-531 - £24 Wembley Blocks 136-139 - £34 Wembley Blocks 136-139 - £24 Wembley Blocks 132-135 - £24 Wembley Blocks 548-550 - £34 Wembley Blocks 551-501 - £34 Wembley Blocks 528-531 - £34
  7. For those outside the area you should see the local Meridian news from last night. The bit I mean is from 18:58 to about 19:08. Is that Corp Ho stood in front of seat M081 with his friend ? http://www.itv.com/meridian-west/fullprogramme/?intcmp=NAV_MERIDIAN0_FULLPROG4
  8. I alway thought it was attempted purchase of this Dutch company that led to the charges in Israel and the freezing of the Bank Accounts http://www.nrc.nl/international/article2485661.ece/Dutch_company_involved_with_arms_dealer I like the quote "In 2003, the Israeli police warned the FBI about the Russian billionaire’s methods. "He distances himself from his properties, companies and bank accounts," the Israelis wrote. Gaydamak’s considerable fortune, it turns out, is registered in other people’s names. " Why does a football club come to mind.
  9. It is interesting that the only other time I have heard about a South African consortium buying a Football Club was about 15 months ago. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/premierleague/portsmouth/3439882/Tony-Adams-afraid-of-the-sack-if-Portsmouth-sold-Football.html "South African tycoon Greg James, chief executive of Central Rand Gold, one of South Africa's leading gold mining companies, was believed to be in talks about buying the club". or http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/portsmouth/article5134440.ece And then there is nothing for over a year, no other interest in any other club, which MOST PEOPLE think would give BETTER value for money. I stand by what i wrote on Friday http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=619289#post619289 IMO "Daddy" name will be linked somewhere, the land around Farton Dump just does not make the deal work.
  10. I posted this on here 6 days ago :- http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=615366#post615366 For those trying to use the Online system for the first time and are getting problems with email and passwords etc. I had a similar problem last week, i.e. it said I was already registered but the RECOVER password with the correct email address said they did not match. A trip to the Ticket Office was necessary to "ENABLE my account for Online use". I managed to get my tickets at 7:30 this morning.
  11. Hands up everyone on here who has already Googled - "Gaydamak South Africa Blood Diamonds" and found names like Leviev, Tempelsman, dos Santos, Yatom, Curiel and many others. I bet if/when they come up with a name somebody on here will get a business connection to "daddy" before the ink is dry on the "Fit and Proper Application Form". (Of course the PL will pass the name, and 6 months later when it all goes pearshaped the thick skates will blame the PL again.)
  12. I see they have changed the price of blocks 232-238. The Plan says they are Cat2 (£44), but the Block price says they are £58. I assume that the seats at the back of Blocks 132-135 are the higher price (higher up therefore better view) and the ones at pitch level are the cheaper ones ? Equally it would have been nice to say how the Blocks 124-127 are split into 3 prices, ? front (pitch level ?), middle, back (under level2 ?) ??
  13. They have UPDATED the Wembley Ticket Details Announcement http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1966914,00.html to say Please note that Wembley Ticket Sales will not be available from the SFC Ticket Office prior to General Sale.. so yes to your question, Phone or Online.
  14. they said on radio solent this morning that the skates were having a URGENT fans forum on Thursday http://www.bbc.co.uk/5live/shows/5live-sport/get-in-touch/ If we all applied for 4 tickets for a Mr Fake Doctor at xyz address + valid postcode (not SO) and then NOT turn up, or not receive the tickets. Perhap Radio5 will understand why they are called the blue-few.
  15. And tomorrow's entertainment is :- Henry and Milan at the City of Westminster Magistrates Court. http://www.cps.gov.uk/news/press_releases/102_10/index.html http://www.cps.gov.uk/news/press_releases/101_10/index.html If it is anything like the Storrieteller case, all that will happen is a date will be set for plea and trial. As I said yesterday I been told that as soon as these 3 criminal cases are over the Football Authorities will step in and charge poopey with some football related issue. If this is true, I hope any new investors do not expect to start on zero points next season.
  16. In case people haven't seen this let the Skate News is running a "web chat thing" with people at the High Court. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Pompey-in-The-High-Court.6058705.jp Only Gary Double and Tanya Robins have turned up at court. Storrieteller has stayed at Farton Dump (? by the shedder I assume)
  17. For info I posted the following 2 links back in Dec. Ticket info for last year final http://www.football-league.co.uk/johnstonespainttrophy/news/20090224/final-ticket-information_2246525_1568489 And a plan of the stadium http://www.football-league.co.uk/staticFiles/47/32/0,,10794~143943,00.pdf The plan implies that if Carlisle ordered only 20k they will get only the lower tier at one end. As we will request over 30k we will get tickets in the top tier as well. The plan also implies that there are more tickets in the "grey areas" at the very top for example block 512/3/4 etc., that could be requested.
  18. Just to bring you back into the real world, I think we all remember the Police raid on Farton Dump in July 2007 http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/1548900.0/ This led to further raids on certain addresses in 2008 and the court cases against Milan & Henry (11 Feb) and Storrieteller (15 April). I have been told that as soon as these legal cases are over then the Football Authorities will step in and charge poopey with some football related issue (false accounting or something that breaks FA or PL rules). For legal reasons they cannot do anything until after these Court Cases (? summer 2010 ?). Therefore, if a new Arab or an Irish couple are going to step in at the last moment and become new owners I hope that they have done their due diligence ! Luton, West Ham come to mind.
  19. Technically they have until the day of the game to pay us. http://www.thefa.com/~/media/776FDC2C663A48568FC3688FA667463A.ashx/01%20FAC%20rules%202009-2010%20_blue_.pdf Section 21 (page 15 of 23) says :- (v) The Visiting Club should settle with the Home Club for sales of tickets on or before the day of the match. For info Section 22 (page 16 of 23) gives the split of the gate money, so as soon as the match starts we owe them (22.b.iii) (Note that is NET receipts).
  20. If anyone would like to see the Special Report from BBC South Today (last night) you can view it here :- http://www.bbc.co.uk/southtoday/latest_stories/index.shtml (Select the "Watch Now" under Sally) The important part is from 08:10 to 12:04, (the full report starts from 04:50). Well done Tony H, it is about time somebody said these sort of things in the media, perhaps the FA and Prem League will take note. (I believe it will be overwritten tonight so if you wish to view it or save it, it will have to be done today).
  21. There has just been a very good "Special Report" on BBC South Today pointing out the links between Daddy; Junior and all the other questionable characters involved. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BBC SOUTH TODAY put the 3 min Special Report on the web for others outside the area to see it !!
  22. Can I remind everyone :- (1) That Daddy is due in court in Israel this month (Feb 2010). http://archive.globes.co.il/searchgl/Gaydamak%20ordered%20to%20attend%20February%20court%20hearing_h_hd_2L34nE3WqDrmnC30mDJ8tE3WpBcXqRMm0.html (2) And while he has been back in Russia his Bank Accounts have been frozen. http://www.complinet.com/global/news/news/article.html?ref=127834 (.... have been frozen, leaving him unable to deposit the money....") (3) And last Sept money was removed from those FROZEN Bank Accounts when Chainrai & Kushnir sued Daddy (and almost the same amount was then loaned to the Skates later) http://archive.globes.co.il/searchgl/Court%20orders%20Gaydamak%20to%20pay%20Kushnir,%20Chainrai%20$23m_h_hd_2L34nDZaqDbmnC30mDJ0mC34sBcXqRMm0.html ("...Gaydamak did not file a statement of defense in the lawsuit ...") IMO the most important Court Case is the one due in Israel this month, if Daddy wins it and his Bank Accounts are unfrozen then I believe that Chainrai will be happy, and the STALLING and TIME WASTING that is going on in all the other cases will suddenly stop.
  23. The local Basingstoke paper's report on Grosvenor Basingstoke Properties being added to the winding up order http://www.basingstokegazette.co.uk/news/4888535.Pompey_sued_by_Basingstoke_property_firm/
  24. I hope the Skates do not try to use this to confuse the Judge on Feb 10th. "e.g. This bill / form was not sent to company 03747237 (City Football Club Ltd) http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/da708cec55a055867a1b317fa2d44468/compdetails We can only think it must have been sent to company 06567232 (Football Club Ltd) http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/342391a8a7b399c35f3dc730db08d6fa/compdetails or the DISSOLVED company 05763080 (...F.C Ltd) http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/b1cef7377129ea9419d2c2e6e251febf/compdetails I would hate for them to escape on a technical issue.
