1/ For info the Pink has produced another 24 page Pull-Out with approx 100 new photos, all bar one were not in Monday's 24 page Pull-Out. This pull out has lots of crowds pictures and IMO is far better than Monday's version. I did noticed on page 21 that Markus was wearing a Saints Tie, whereas Nicola has a Dark (skate) Blue tie on, perhaps that is the reason for the boos (joke). 2/ On the issue of the OS photos http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2009138,00.html (a) In photo 5 and 6 I did notice that a carlisle supporter with a no 14 on his back is just walking up the stairs with his back to the goal at the moment Adam scores our 2nd. In photo 6 he isn't even looking over his shoulder as Adam has scored so I can only think the carlisle supporters must be quieter than our Kingsland's "Bovril and Rug" lot at that moment for him not even to look. (b) In Photo 9 (the one that shows the handball), the defender behind Rickie has his left hand raised :- either to appeal for hand ball as well, or to ask the ref if he can leave the field to change his underwear. © In Photo 19 (the one where Adam is just about to hit the volley on the turn), the carlisle no 21 is again using his hands, his right is picking Adam nose while his left is doing something with Papa's right ear.

If anyone is like me and likes to buy a Program before the day and keep it at home so that it doesn't get beer stains on it. The MegaStore have got a few in today (10 boxes x 50 ?) at £5. I noticed that carlisle have been to the final of the JPT 4 times :- 2005/6 v Swansea LOST 2-1 2002/3 v Bristol City LOST 2-0 1996/7 v Colchester DREW 0-0 (won on pens 4-3) 1994/5 v Brum LOST 1-0 aet The ref (Scott Mathieson) is from "up north" and a quick google says he has NOT reffed either team this year. http://www.soccerbase.com/refs2.sd?refid=161&seasonid=139 He did 2 of our games last season - (1) Cardiff away (1-2) where "killer" claimed he was pushed for their last min winner but imo Johnson just jumped early into the space stopped MS getting off the ground. (2) The other game was a 0-0 draw at Charlton.

My favourite song of all time is Dave Cousin's Blue Angel (original from 1976 - Two Weeks Last Summer). As the song is approx 10mins long there is only a 3 min on YouTube of the 1st part ("Divided") and not (ii) Half Worlds Apart or (iii) At Rest. Although the 76 version with Rick playing keyboards on (ii) is the famous version I currently like the 2003-4 version with Brian Willoughby playing guitar on (iii).

I got my tickets out as well. I was amazed at the price of Football in 1976 - Bradford (q/f)......... £1.50 (Ticket No 1571) - Crystal Palace (s/f). £1.50 (Ticket No 1751) - Final..................... £2.50 (C, 14, East, 281) - Charity Shield......... £1.50 (C, 13, East, 357) and then 1992 for the SEATED Zenith - £19 (G, Block 244, Row 7 Seat 30)

Block 125 Row 9

So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?
Saint_John replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
Mine were ordered online at 7:25 am on the 1st day for ST (22 March) and they have just arrived in the post at One O'Clock. Does anybody know whether Row 9 is 9 rows from the front or 9 rows from the back of Block 125 ? I.e. is it the "upper part" at the back of the 1st Tier, or are these £44 tickets 9 rows from the front ? -
While talking about Nicola there was bit in the Pink this week (Paine's World p21) which says that he had sent invites over to S.A. for Terry and his wife to be guests at Wembley next Sunday. Unfortunately because of TV committments Terry cannot make it, however IMO it was a nice offer.

As I believe the Skates will not get a CVA I thought I would recap on the penalty points issued to other clubs over the last few seasons and the reasons. When reading remember this is the second time the Skates have been in Admin (1998 ) so they should get an additional 2 points like Bournemouth and Rotherham. Remember also the Court Case for Storrieteller in May 2011 could also mean 10 more penalty points in the 2011/12 season. Luton - 30 points 10 points - Breaching FA regs about payments to Agents 20 points - No CVA (3rd insolvency in 10 years so 15 + 5 points) http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/luton-town-hit-with-points-penalty-864607.html "The Hatters, who had 10 points deducted earlier in the summer after breaching Football Association regulations over agents fees, have had an extra 20 taken away today by the Football League." "A 20-point deduction should apply in the 2008-09 season, which also takes into account the fact that this is the club's third insolvency event in the last 10 years." The breach of FA regs was paying Agents via Jayten rather than the Football Club (& FA). http://www.lutontown.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10372~1323675,00.html "...Luton Town Football Club, between July 2004 and February 2007 was run with a flagrant disregard for the Regulations laid down to protect the game. At the heart of the allegations .... was the routing of payments to agents NOT through The Football Association as ought to have occurred but through an associated company, namely Jayten Stadium Limited...." Appeal Rejected http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/football-league/luton-stay-30-points-in-red-as-fa-penalty-appeal-is-thrown-out-868587.html Rotherham and Bournemouth - 17 points 17 points - No CVA (2nd insolvency in recent seasons 15 + 2) - 1997 for Bournemouth - 2006 for Rotherham Leeds - 15 points 15 points - No CVA but had over 75% of the vote. HMRC took the Administrators to court and stopped a CVA being issued. Lesson for the Skates DON'T mess with HMRC. http://www.thefootballnetwork.net/main/s277/st127940.htm "HMRC raised an issue with two of the Creditors that voted in favour of the CVA. One of which was Yorkshire Radio. HMRC felt they should not have been allowed to vote.... The matter could have been dealt with relatively quickly and was expected to be scheduled before the next Football League meeting. HMRC then added the issue of the Footballing debts being given priority to the issue to be discussed. In effect, the HMRC were taking KPMG to Court to dispute Football League rules! Leeds Utd (Bates and Co.) were not under scrutiny but these matters meant the club were not able to exit administration. The additional 'issues' meant that the Court hearing was extended to five days, and the court schedule meant this could not be heard until September 2007, some four months after the CVA was approved and two months beyond the start of the season." http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/may/07/championship.leagueonefootball "..Leeds ... then accepted 15-point deduction in League One when they failed to achieve a CVA. Having promised in writing not to take legal action, Leeds then initiated proceedings in the high court, seeking to have the 15 points reinstated, and the action was referred to arbitration." Appeal Rejected http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/football_league/article2229014.ece "..More than 75 per cent of clubs initially agreed Leeds deserved to be punished for failing to meet the Football League's strict rules on insolvency and they then agreed, by the same majority, not to reduce the penalty."

This article in the Guardian says "unsecured loans". http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/mar/02/links-portsmouth-twisted-chain-ownership "Gaydamak Jr remains a key player because he claims to be owed more than £30.5m in unsecured loans. He still owns five key pockets of land around the stadium, including that on which the club's offices sit." As he owns the land around the ground it is sort of makes his loans almost "secured", as no one can do anything with the Club without the Offices etc. However if you are thinking about the CVA vote, remember there are 2 parts to the vote and there is NO way I can see that Junior will not be classified as "Associated". So IMO they will not get a CVA. http://www.fasimms.com/cva.html "75% of unsecured creditors by value must approve a CVA. Remember this is 75% voting on the day. 50% of non-associated creditors by value must also vote in support".

On the 5th March Bucks wrote this :- From my understand of yesterday, HMRC got their wish and are on this Committee. (Bucks or anyone ) ? What powers does this Committee have, or is it just any "early warning" of what is going to be offered to the creditors ? For example, do they have a say on who is an ASSOCIATED Creditor(i.e. the 50% vote for the CVA), or does it allow them early warning (and therefore they can go to the High Court again) if they think that AA has classified a creditor as NOT Associated, whereas everyone on this planet thinks the son of Gun Runner is "Associated".

So who's received their wembley tickets in the post yet?
Saint_John replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
I ordered my tickets on the 1st day for Phase 1 at 7:25 in the morning and my tickets have not turned up yet. My surname starts with "W". My nephews who ordered on the 1st day of the 2nd Phase received their tickets on Monday and their surname starts with a "B". I had a quick chat with a few other ST holders around me yesterday and the people who had got their tickets ALL had surnames with early letters. I think the first person without started with a "L". I had expected tickets to be send out in Order No, however my current theory is that either within the club or the Royal Mail/Post Office there has been some sorting within Surname (??). -
Should anything be made of the change of Judge from last time Justice Norris -> Justice Lewison. Is it normal to change the Judge? Or does it imply there are no surprises from HMRC and it is only technical issues ?

I forgot to say the "Professional Game Match Officials Ltd" have a web site http://www.refworld.com/select_group_referees/0/2 and it appears you can ask Peter Walton questions if you become a member. (If somebody does please ask the following questions.) ? Why was your performance so bad on the the 13 March ? It was almost as if you were playing for leeds that day ?
-
From memory the person who would review a Ref performance at the FA was Keith Hackett. However this article at the FA web site implies that KH was replaced by Mike Riley in Jan. http://www.thefa.com/GetIntoFootball/Referee/NewsAndFeatures/2009/RileyAppointed.aspx If true, the bad news is that MR is a leeds supporter (I think). p.s. I also think Walton was truly shocking yesterday, the worst I've seen in over 40 years watching Saints.

I notice on Sat they had to make 3 subs before half-time. Lucus (GK - hamstring 12 mins), Pericard (hamstring 33 mins) and Ward (head 45 mins). Hamstrings are usually a minimum of 10 days, so I would not expect L or P to make Tuesday.
-
Just a minor point, but there are 2 percentages for a CVA vote:- "75% of unsecured creditors by value must approve a CVA. Remember this is 75% voting on the day. 50% of non-associated creditors by value must also vote in support." http://www.fasimms.com/cva.html When Gerald Krasner spoke on Radio Solent the other week he implied that the 2nd vote would be interesting vote. What he said was :- "In the 2nd vote, anybody associated is excluded from voting and the argument at Poopey is just WHO ARE ASSOCIATED CREDITORS. And it may well be that they have difficulty here and this will have to be looked at getting the 50% majority. Because if all the former owners who are owed money are deemed to be associates they will not be able to vote. And the HMRC and the other creditors could in fact reject the CVA." http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p006my9y I can see HMRC using Monday to sort out who is "Secured" and who is "Associated", as others have said it may be that the court will have to rule on the status of the son of Arms Dealer / Money Launder.

Thanks for that. I will add May 16 2011 to my list of dates. So you are right the probable charges against the Club will follow that date (if they still exist), and not this summer as I expected. I hope they are making the 12 interested parties aware of this.
-
The last date i have seen is April 15 this year - from the last time he was in court http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/8469860.stm "He spoke only to confirm his name and the case was adjourned until 15 April when he is due to enter a plea. Mr Storrie, of St Helen's Road, Hayling Island, Hampshire, was given unconditional bail."
-
My suggestion for 'Leisure Use Only' is the Exercise Yard in an extension to Ford Open Prison. Now remind me again when are Storrietellers, Henry and Milan court cases, I believe it the 14/15 of April. I think they could start building the Exercise Yard in 8 days time.
-
IMO they will select the Driver employed on the Horton Heath run, and the bloke who is paid £250 a time to put out the cones. After her comments in the SoA / Court the other day it will be interesting if they select Tanya. I bet she has some other storries to tell ?

Some "Comments" in the Jerusalem Post re Daddy's money laundering trial http://www.jpost.com/Business/Article.aspx?id=157079 " As the facts of the case come to light in the coming months ...." IMO I wonder which end of the chain will complete its court case first. Perhaps the Skates have been stalling all this time in the hope that Daddy's Bank Accounts suddenly get unfrozen ? Interesting comment towards the end "... Bank employees forged documents to help Gaydamak in his subterfuge ....".

I hope they enjoy the Skates training ground and bring their own hot food with them ? http://www.htafc.com/page/PreMatchComments/0,,10312~1980676,00.html "We are travelling down today (Monday) and we obviously have the game tomorrow night. We have a session at Portsmouth's training ground on Wednesday morning and on Thursday afternoon before travelling across and training at Eastleigh's facilities on Friday morning - their manager, Ian Baird, has kindly let us use their facilities"
