I've got that record on vinyl (DJF 20482) and the far better "In the Club" on tape from his Folk Club days. Unfortunately I have no method for transferring them onto digital. I don't think he wrote the song, it was written by a friend from the Folk Club circuit who came from Southampton but who's name escapes me.

Section 4.10 (page 18 of 102 or page 12 of document ) says That suggests a trip to the High Court which was estimated at 5 days when HMRC took the Leeds Administrator to court (and stopped the CVA being agreed in their case).
-
The full CVA document can be downloaded from UHY. http://www.uhy-uk.com/pages/posts/portsmouth-city-football-club--proposal-for-company-voluntary-arrangement-cva740.php then select "download a copy" http://www.uhy-uk.com/media/download/turnaround-and-recovery/PFC%20CVA%2028th%20May%20Final2.pdf p13 says the Football Creditors is £22.4M and unsecured Creditors is £83M = £105M Total Unsecured (page 16) The creditors meeting is June 17 at 11:00 (the same day the fixture lists comes out - ? are they trying to hide some "bad news" )

Court 4 tomorrow in front of Judge Testar. http://www.courtserve.net/courtlists/current/crown/sthwk_T100528.01.htm "For Direction", Peter, Henry and Milan do not need to attend. I have heard that HMRC have a 200 page document on Peter alone. Also more news from Israel. http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/features/the-secret-trial-of-arcadi-gaydamak-1.292469 Which includes I wonder how long before these unpaid "management fees" find themselves into a certain football club. . .

I'm not sure I read it that way. The Skate News has the following quote http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/frattonlatest/Pompey-season-ticket-sales-off.6319666.jp Normally there would only be choice between Agree and Refuse, I have never seen a "agree conditionally" before. What does that mean ? What Conditions ? Is this the way HMRC are going to take the "Football Creditors" rule back to the High Court. I was reading the following the other day http://insolvency.mercerhole.co.uk/ which has the following

If this article in the Daily Hate about Darlington from last season is correct they have until the first match of the season to get the Golden Share and escaped further penalty points (for NO cva). http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1204953/Colin-Todds-Darlington-avoid-points-deduction-coming-administration.html?ITO=1490 So I would assume end of June/start of July, then the 28 day "Cooling off" period for legal challenges in order to get the Golden Share in early August. Note also that Luton were given 10 additional points by The FA for paying agents via their holding company, and not the FL, so you should be looking in their rule book for things like ; paying unlicenced agents; having a Shadow Director etc. etc. etc. etc.

Somebody at Saints must read my posts because work has started this morning on giving the "Charlie Miller" mural (on the footbridge) a touch up of paint.

I see Daddy doesn't like the Judge in his case. http://www.haaretz.com/print-edition/news/gaydamak-wants-judge-in-laundering-trial-to-recuse-himself-1.291818 Why do I get feeling that Daddy is "stalling" in his case, perhaps he is waiting for the cases/administration at this end of chain to be heard first.

I would take everything that Comical Ali says with a pinch of salt, remember he said he would get the 9 points removed, get their Transfer Embargo lifted, get them into Europe etc. Whenever he says anything I have visions of him standing on a roof top with American tanks in the background, one tank has "No CVA" written on the side and another has "FA Charges". To answer your question, this article from the Daily Hate says that Darlington only got the Golden Share in the final week before the season started last year to escaped further points penalty. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1204953/Colin-Todds-Darlington-avoid-points-deduction-coming-administration.html?ITO=1490 So I would assume end of June, then the 28 day "Cooling off" period for legal challenges in order to get the golden share in early August. (Articles about Darlington's CVA if you want to read - http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/darlington/4421431.Creditors_to_get_pittance_from_club/ http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/sport/football/darlington/crisis/4440821.quakers__cva_meeting_postponed/ - very little owed in Tax and meeting was end of June) HOWEVER, don't worry, ask yourself are the HMRC going to allow the SAME GROUP of Israel Businessmen (some people call them crooks) to remain in power (Storrieteller at Wembley on Sat, Azougy + Jacob for the S/F etc). HMRC are playing the long game and the FA already have somebody in "looking at the books".

I see Compass have got the boot (from todays Echo). http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/business/southampton/8173207.Compass_sidelined_as_the_Saints_caterer/ Trust the Echo to remind everyone of the Dark Lord's quote “Our match-day and nonmatch- day catering is the envy of other clubs,” he wrote in his programme notes for the game against Manchester United that confirmed Saints’ relegation to the Championship..."

When I went for a run this morning past SMS there are 2 "Cherry Picker" type platforms at the Chapel End (inside) and a whole of lot of scaffolding at the Northam end. A workman told me they were removing the rust from the steelwork that supports the roof. (They did the outside last year). Although I hope they repair the TV screens while they have the equipment in place. Two other things. 1/ A sign on the MegaStore door said "The Southend Programs are STILL not available", the word "STILL" implies to me that one will come out sometime (I bet the Echo buys the 1st one and then compares every word to try and find a negative story). 2/ The Mount Pleasant Level-Crossing is now open to vehicles, HOWEVER Mount Pleasant Road itself is now CLOSED both ways by the School so the only way to drive across the level crossing by the Old Farmhouse pub is via the Industial Est in Imperial Road (I believe).

The Observer (hardcopy) has a picture of Chelsea collecting the cup and in the background you can see the Andriod looking very worried/thoughtful/pensive - imo "what do I do now" . (it is online as picture no 38 of 42 here - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/gallery/2010/may/15/chelsea-portsmouth-fa-cup-final-gallery?picture=362689692 ) I can see that ex chelsea centre half having a word in Pini Z's ear and Chainrai looks very pleased with himself, almost as he has "won" something. I know Storrieteller was at the game but he is not in the picture however can anyone point out any of the other "leading players" from Cheats FC, e.g. the 2 figures at the top left do not seem to be applauding, are they known ?

I always thought there was very little information coming out of Israel about Daddy's Court Case. These articles from the 13 May & 15 May says that the Defence Minister had issued a "special security blackout on certain elements .." http://www.jpost.com/Headlines/Article.aspx?id=175534 http://www.guysen.com/en/news_Report-says-Israel-s-defense-minister-issued-security-blackout-on-case-against-A_2832.html

Your HD must be good because on mine I thought Chanrai said something like "Me and my mates have managed something only your old grandmother is allowed to do, we don't pay any taxes either".

I see Barry Hearn believes a rule change is necessary and the "cheats" should be relegated 2 divisions. . I can count 3 "cheating" and 1 "cheat" in this short article it seems the word is becoming fashionable. Should be an interesting AGM in June, I cannot believe he will let them "get away with it". http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11719_6154414,00.html

Does anyone know whether the SELLAR PROPERTY GROUP mentioned in this link http://www.e-architect.co.uk/england/portsmouth_stadium_development.htm has any connection to Sellar Properties (Portsmouth-Phase 1) Ltd mentioned in this winding up order at the High Court http://www.hmcourts-service.gov.uk/cms/list_companies_winding.htm (Not before 11:00 am ..... 2677 /2010 Sellar Properties (Portsmouth-Phase 1) Ltd)

If you remember back to the Takeover there was almost NOTHING in the Echo about ML or NC before the Takeover. I have gone back to the Echo reports from the Takeover (July 8th) and have assembled the following :- (Takeover 8th July - ML and NC talk to the Echo) (Tues 7th July) http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4479694.Swiss_on_verge_of_formal_takeover_announcement/ (Mon 6th July) http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4475934.It_would_be_nice_to_tell_Saints_fans_their_club_is_safe__says_Fry/ (Friday 3rd July) Even 4-5 days before the Swiss Takeover the Echo were still taking about 2 other groups, and NOT ML i.e. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4472854.Pinnacle_back_in_contention_for_Saints/ (Wed 1st July) Most of the talk was about the other groups the only comment I could find about ML was http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4467677.Potential_foreign_owners_in_late_night_Saints_talks/ (Tues 30th June) Eight Saints articles that day but the only mention of the ML was the following http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4466522.Le_Tissier_and_Pinnacle_pull_out_of_bid_for_Saints/ (Mon 29th June) Very little about ML the only comment I could find was :- http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4463596.Another_twist_/ I suggest some on here reread the articles from that time and you will realise that ML and NC do NOT talk to the Echo even when they get things wrong, they just go about their business. (Echo Site -> select Archive at the bottom -> Select Date i.e. 7th July 2009 -> Select Saints from the right hand side and then you will get all the articles from that date.)

It is usually in early June, i.e. in 2007 it was the 8th in the Algarve. http://www.football-league.co.uk/latestnews/20070608/league-chairman-get-the-outside-view_2245681_1034302 In 2004, when they introduced the Fit & Proper test it was the 11th in Chester http://www.football-league.co.uk/latestnews/20040611/breaking-news_2245681_532014 If this Yeovil web site is to be believed one item on the Agenda for this June is Club Ownership http://www.ciderspace.co.uk/ASP/features/blog.asp?BlogId=247 I like the following quote "... this is the first big test of new Chairman Greg Clarke to continue Mawhinney's drive towards ensuring that its member clubs are better protected against crooks ......"

When they first announced the program I wrote the following points (page 501 - 30 April), most of which were covered in the program. The only new things for me were (1) a "claim on record that Storrieteller has met the Invisible_Man", now there are a lot of people claiming he doesn't exist so that is NOW on record. Another lie from storrieteller or not ?, I believe the football authorities know the truth. (2) They didn't produce the email/memo or list Androids previous dealing with the High Court, why ?? (thread of legal action ?). (3) They did point out that all the "previous advisors" are still in the Directors Box at Wembley, which is good because it shows that nothing has changed at the club since they went into Admin. Generally a good program, well done Tony H, the only down side is that program was only shown in the BBC South area, but we can all arrange for it to be sent to the PL, FA and FL (+ papers) and ask for comments. For example, why in Athletics has Marion Jones records been removed for the record books when it found that she has been CHEATING (drugs) but the Football Authorities have only given the Football CHEATS a token 9 points that had NO bearing on their final league position ?.
-
I can see Leeds and Luton taking legal action against the FL if they do not impose a points penalty. When we were docked 10 points I remember Lord Muck saying something like "The FL has got to be seen as FAIR to all it's members".

I've had a quick look at the results (I hope I have not made any mistakes) but Millwall only managed 1-2-4 (5 points) in their away games against the bottom 7. They lost at Wycombe (1-0), Tranmere (2-0), Gillingham (2-0) and Orient (1-0). In fact Gillingham home record against the top 7 was 5-2-0 (only Norwich and Charlton drew), and Exeter record is 1-5-0 (Beat Leeds and drew with everybody else, with Huddersfield still to play). Swindon's record was only 2-4-1 and Leeds only managed 3-2-2. So we are not the only side that has problems playing against the bottom 7.

What Nicola has done is look for GOOD L1/CCC players who are either in the last year of their contracts (e.g. Barnard) or playing for Clubs that need the money (Rickie, Fonte). This has enabled us to pick up QUALITY players for very little money, and our attendance figures enable to offer better contracts that some of the teams that operating on sub 10k gates. I expect us to to look at the 3 teams who make the Play-Offs but don't go up and attempt to sign some of their better players (similar to Jason in the last transfer window). For example, Swindon have made the play-offs but I am led to believe that Paynter contract is up this summer. Also Huddersfield have a number of above average forwards for L1.

Thanks to both of you for pointing me at Sustran, (i could have sworn it was Train). Anyhow I've now found this, which may be of interest to some who park in the St Denys area on match days. http://www.sustransconnect2.org.uk/news/news_detail.php?item=Work+starts+on+new+riverside+route+for+Southampton

When I went for a run yesterday there were 2 people in a car conducting a survey by the footbridge over the railway line on the SMS side. Does anybody know what this is about ? I think I saw the word "Sustrain" on a piece of paper, but cannot be sure. Could this be the 1st step towards trying to get a Station at the ground ??? (x number of people use this route during the week etc.) p.s. Nicola, the Charlie Millar mural on the Footbridge could do with a touch up of paint in certain areas if you have a few bob spare.

They have just said on BBC South Local News that they are producing a TV program about the demise of the Cheating Skates to be aired on Sunday 9th May at 3:15 (just before the start of their last match in the PL). I hope this is the start of the media telling the truth instead of the usual rubbish we hear. Hints to producers of the program, please mention :- - Who the real owner of the club was from 2006 ? Daddy. - How they repeatly Lied to the PL about who was the owner, and have not been charged by the football authorities, why ? - That it was NOT the financial markets that stopped the money flowing into the club but the fact that Daddy had his Bank Accounts frozen in Israel after he was charged with money laundering (trial due to start in May). - How this thread was started in July 2009 (from a leak from the Skates Finance Dept) to say NO MONEY WAS COMING from the Fake_Dr. Yet they somehow managed to get the PL to remove the first transfer embargo in August last year and sign 6 or 7 players in the final few days of that Summer Transfer Window on the understanding that the Fake_Dr was bringing in new money, but WE all knew on here there was no money. - How they had a "shadow director" for a number of weeks against PL rules but have still not been charged by the football authorities, why ? - How 3 people connected with the club are currently before the courts charged with Tax Fraud, but still the club has not been charged, why ? - They can also show this memo/email that the BBC have got which shows who was making the decisions at the time the Invisible_Owner was in charge. - They can also mention the Andriods previous dealings with the High Court. - They can also mention how they used players in the 2nd half of the season that they were never going to pay for and SHOULD NOT have been allowed to sign. Most people now view this as CHEATING, but they still have NOT been thrown out of the FA Cup and the 9 league points has made NO difference to their league position. - They can .... (please add)
