  1. I am NOT in the know at all, but the comments he made (e.g. very anti Reed) suggests to me he has links to somebody on the coaching side. Take your pick. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/ReservesTable/ I MIGHT BE TOTALLY WRONG but if you look back to the summer one of the coaches left the club (?? sacked ??) (! after 20 years with Saints !!). http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8274128.Henderson_s_sadness_at_leaving_Saints/ (also http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/8268357.New_coach_joins_Saints___but_Henderson_departs/) (If you want to look up his playing career and position try here http://www.where-are-they-now.co.uk/chelsea/h.php) As I said I AM NOT ITK and this might be TOTALLY WRONG.
  2. When I went for a run this morning I asked at the Ticket Office about the number of Tickets sold and was told 7,000. They also had black mats or covers over the Chapel end of the pitch. The Northern end was in the sun.
  3. Sorry I had to wait until 6:05 for my 3 post limit. The original case was scheduled for 2 days (thurs & friday). However there is no entry in the schedule for Friday (http://www.courtserve.net/courtlists/current/crown/sthon_T101126.02.htm ). Court 7 and the Judge are on to another case it would appear. The only other mention I could find is here :- http://www.thelawpages.com/court-hearings-lists/Southwark-crown-court.php Which if you look for the first Court 7 and select the "down arrow" it says It doesn't mention what the result was or anything about the other 2 only that the hearing for Henry finish after 1 hr & 47 mins ? Which seem very short to me. If he had won I'm sure he would have been on SSN and all the other media outlets at 11:48. If we think our court cases are slow at releasing information, the "Gun Runner" trial started in Israel in the middle of Oct and there hasn't been a report about the case in over 5 weeks.
  4. You have to laugh, the online Bournemouth Echo has 2 stories on McQuoid today http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/ The 1st timed at 07:00 saying he is "Not for Sale" (http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/8686409.Cherries__Mitchell_intent_on_keeping_prize_asset_Josh/) The 2nd, 4 hours and 21 mins later saying "He is Sold" http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/8688459.Cherries__McQuoid_deal_is_finalised/ I wonder how many bottles of champagne that will buy ?
  5. The extended highlights have been put up on the BBC iPlayer. They must have been edited by a Seaweed fan because they make it out to be a closer game than it was, i.e. they failed to include the trip on Adam, and a few other incidents in their box (the flick from a corner in the 1st half that went across the 6 yd box, the cross from AOX in the 2nd across the 6 yd box, both just needed somebody to attack the ball). yet imo they include EVERY attack they had. Rickie header in the second half is a bad miss. The only positive thing I can say about brighton is that they get alot of players back in the 6yd box when defending. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/9226021.stm
  6. Come on Judge Testar, make up for the mistake that Injustice Mann make. http://www.courtserve.net/courtlists/current/crown/sthwk_T101125.01.htm Southwark Crown Court No7 at 10:00 As I understand it tomorrow's case is NOT the "Court Case" but an application by the defendants to have the case "dismissed", the real "Court Case" is scheduled for the middle of May, if Judge Testar agrees there is a case to answer, therefore :- Are there any legal ones who could explain :- 1/ Why "Order made under Contempt of Court" note ? 2/ Why only "Applications" by Henry & Milan ? (Does the cases against Storrieteller go ahead in May whatever the result on Friday ?)

  8. I wanted to vote for Nigel because this the best TEAM performance I have seen all season. We were "hunting the ball" in packs when we didn't have it and there was always 2 or 3 players making runs off the ball when we had it. Every player in the 14 played their part and imo it was not about individuals so I would like to vote for Nigel. p.s. I believe Elphick & El-Abd picked up their 5th booking yesterday so both should be out of Tuesday along with Bridcutt who was sent off last week.
  9. You have to laugh. But AA was telling the world they had qualified for Europe, it was just that they failed to complete the paperwork on time that stopped them. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/Pompey-call-on-Fifa-over.6630745.jp
  10. The goals (nothing else) can be seen of BBC iplayer http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00w5cp5/The_Football_League_Show_2010_2011_Episode_15/ (47:52 to 48:55) How many loan players did Carlisle have on the pitch ?
  11. The full 3rd round draw is here (after the outstanding 2nd Round matches) http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/FACompetitions/TheFAYouthCup/Fixtures It looks like we are playing Tuesday 30th at 19:00 (the others are not playing on Sat 11/12/2010 it is just the day they must be played by). p.s. poor old Cheats FC
  12. The Nominees were :- http://www.football-league.co.uk/league1/news/20101105/npower-manager-of-the-month_2248206_2208590 which states that the Panel was :- The final results was :- http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/ManageroftheMonthArticle/0,,10794,00.html I believe Alan Curbishley is a very good friend of a certain ex-leftback of ours (if it is him), I wonder if he put in a good word (sic) for us (for example http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4161/is_20031214/ai_n12882467/ )

CourtServe says he in court Today and Tomorrow. Today Court 3 (for For Trial of Issue) http://www.courtserve.net/courtlists/current/crown/carli_T101109.03.htm Tomorrow Court 1 (for Trial (Part Heard)) http://www.courtserve.net/courtlists/current/crown/carli_T101110.01.htm
  14. I wish supporters would stop trying to blame NC for the problem with the Echo, this "war" between the Echo and the Club has been going on for a number of years. For example here is a story I was told from 2001. IMO it doesn't matter who is in charge at Saints, the problem lies with the Echo. p.s. IMO the Dark Lord gots his own back on the Echo at a later date; we should all remember the story about Pahars work permit (Permit refused; Appeal 2 weeks later; Work Permit granted; Story leaked to Echo that permit has been refused; Echo print story; 2 hours later Club deny story saying his permit has been granted).
  15. On the day that ML/NC purchased the club the hardcopy version of the Echo (not online) said that another group ("Worldwide Financial Services") were interested in buying the club i.e. Did we ever find out who this group was ? The 2 rumours I heard at the time were; (1) the Dark Lord using loans to buy the club which would just replace our £2M a year Mortgage with a £2M a year Loan repayment; and (2) the other group being something to do with a "Waterfront Development" who were going to put Crouch's mob in charge of the Football Club. (As I said these were only rumours I heard). I only ask because IMO there has been an anti-NC/ML "undertone" from day 1 from a certain section of people and I was wondering whether this group chose NOT to write to the Football League but continue their campaign another way ??
  16. It's good that the club signed him on a 3 year pro contract back in August. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2128220,00.html Perhaps the people running this club do know what they are doing. Previously we would get a "superstar kid" and then find he can walk away soon afterward because the contract was not in place.
  17. Firstly, Butterfield has a minor tear in either his calf (NA on Solent last Sat) or Hamstring (O/S) and therefore putting Richardson in was NOT a "brave shout". Secondly, of the coming up fixtures at home I'm more concerned about Brentford in Dec (won last 3) than Posh (2-0-4 in last 6). IMO there is no need to change the winning side. Tomorrow is all about continuing with the winning run, rather than making changes. Just get Morgan booked and then make your changes plus a few others on Saturday (Bart,Jardi, +Chaplow and Bignell if allowed, Martin etc).
  18. WON 3-1 (H) 24 Oct in league (when they had won something like 4 in 5 and the Echo said we had no chance) WON 1-0 (a) 20 Jan in JPT WON 3-1 (H) 9 Feb in JPT WON 3-0 (a) 20 March in league. Also their 2 main forwards are out of the game I believe (Hughes - suspended and Westcarr - taken off after 12mins with pulled hamstring). Provided the Players have the right attitude when they go on the pitch I see ince getting the same result as last year.
  19. I see Lee Hughes is OUT on Saturday http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Disciplinary/SuspensionLists
  20. I was looking on the Lowe Holdings web site http://www.loweoliver.co.uk/loweholdings/ which lists the five companies that make up the group. Four out of the five appear to have a web site behind them, however the 2nd one down http://www.rfwebb.co.uk/ appears to have lost it's web site ?? which made me think I haven't seen their vans around Southampton for a few months. Do they still exist ? or has the "world's greatest businessman" (well some on here thought he was) struck again ?

  23. Jack, my understanding is :- They were due in court in mid-Sept for "plea", however a week before that date the solictors for the 3 went to court and attempted to get the charges thrown out. A new 2 day appearance at Southwark Court Court to hear the case that "there is no charge to answer" will be held on November 25 and 26 2010. If the judge accepts that there is a case to be heard, the 5 day Court Case will be heard on 16th May 2011 (after the end of the season). My understanding (correct me if I am wrong) is that all 3 are charged with regard to the transfer of Faye, but that only MM and Storrieteller are charged with Berkovic final payoff. IMO even if they manage to get the case thrown out in November, I believe they have broken FA rules with regard to these payments by not going though the books (just like luton).
  24. As there is little news at the moment I thought I would check Companies House for company 03747237 to see if it still in "Voluntary Arrangement". http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/c2e75d640d16cf57d28f65c5ae088c1d/compdetails I did notice that they have changed their address from the "Pig Sty" to UHY's London address, so it is true there is "ONLY ONE TEAM (+ aldershot) IN HAMPSHIRE". The "Insolvency History" tab also shows that when the "Admin" was registered on 26 Feb there were 3 IP on the case but by the time the "unworkable CVA" (imo) was registered on 17 June Peter Kubir was not there. Did Peter not want his name put against the cva ?
  25. When I went for a run this morning past the Ticket Office I enquired about the attendance and was told it was "Just under 20k" for Saturday.
