show me a better and more able coach who is available and willing to come to a League 1 club....we need to be realistic about who are we and the situation we're in.....I agree we're underperforming at the moment, but instability has killed us for the past 10 years and it's not what we need right now.....the club may have stabilised but the team, as yet, haven't had the opportunity to do the same......

I agree with you mate.....can't help bu feel that a Stern John style of player would cause havoc in this division and we should've done more to keep him....on another note, why wasn't Rasiak in the squad yesterday, anyone know??

yes, SCW was the sporting psychologist who announced prior to the ill-fated 2005 Series in New Zealand that studies have proven that "winning teams wear red"...sure did the Lions a lot of good as they got hammered 3-0.....as for those who believe SCW was the reason we won the RWC in 2003, Mrs Woodward could've picked the team and it would've won...we won because of 4 players, Johnson, Wilkinson, Dallaglio and Robinson.....Woodward is a guy who puts structures in place and then fills those structures with well-qualified people...he himself was a moderate old 1st Division coach but who was smart enough to recognise his limitations and learn from others, such as when he took a holiday to the States and visited Gridiron set-ups, noting down every detail of their set-up to the extent of locker configurations....given time, unlimited resources (note that he has already asked the BOA for increased funding to deliver his '2012 vision') and the flexibility to experiment, he may have been successful with us...given that those elements weren't in place following our relegation, he didn't have them to play with....

thank god for that...the thought of him coming back here....arrrgghhhh!

good call mate...agree with you on that...am stuck up north with work and hardly ever get to see the boys apart from occasional midweek away matches up here....the only plus of next season is that there are more away matches in the northwest so will get to see the boys more often....as a fan base, we've had far more than our fair share of **** times in the last 5 years...here's hoping to a brighter future and a unified family club once again....

have never liked yellow as a kit colour on general...just always looks a bit flaky...the black one was sound and can easily swap red/black shorts/socks combos for away fixtures or colour clashes
