Supported the club 60 years, had season tickets for over 20 years and went to plenty of other games as well. Never been so disillusioned , apart from the last few years of Lowe. The club is rudderless, run by non football people and treats the fans with total contempt and are probably going down to boot. How the hell has it come to this ?

Totally under whelmed. We have to stay up, Dyche would have done that, not convinced NJ will be able to. We really are run like a mickey mouse club. Hope I am totally wrong on relegation, but cannot see any thing else happening

He is Southamptons greatest ever player, that is all that matters to me. He is entitled to make a living and have his own opinions. Some so called fans should go and support some one else, if they cannot get their precious little heads around those salient 3 facts. What a bunch of imbeciles some of you really are.

Will go as far as he wants to, shame some of the muppets on here continually find fault, utter planks.

A second post running, I agree with Turkish. Typical pair of Tory money men, says it all really.
-
Delighted to be proved wrong reference result. Not so happy the yellow bellies running the club, have a further get out of jail card, with regards to sacking the manager.
-
Do not seeing anything less than a 2 goal loss. Like Turkish says losing to a tinpot club like Bompey really has to be as bad as it can get. Whether the gutless people in charge do anything if we do lose, I certainly will not hold my breath in hope. Oh for a Gary Neil type coach and motivator.

As things stand we are not better than Bournemouth and it makes me very angry to have to admit to that conclusion. They have an ex Portsmouth caretaker boss, who has done an amazing job to stablelize things since their Liverpool humiliation. If we are not careful we will lose there in 10 days time and that really would be one of the hardest ever results to take in nearly 60 years of supporting the club. For RH to still be here after tuesday week, we need to pick up a minimum of 4 points from our next 2 games, as things stand cannot see that happening . He has to go either way.

Perhaps you should have a beer with Duncan then Turkish and find out like I did a few years back what a decent guy he really is and he did not moan on any of those occasions.

Giles White in charge, will any of the above issues be solved to us supporters satisfaction.

Some very well made points Dusic, the issue is with

Is it down to the majority owner D.S, is it down to K.L as well or even the ex Brentford guy R.A? If it is down to Semmens and Steele who probably know less about the football playing side than most fans then we are well and truly stuffed, and probably stuck with the man who is surely past the last chance saloon in many fans eyes.

Exactly that Mark. Apologies to Window Cleaner for the sarcasm in my last post, should no better as an o.a.p. That was the reason I came off the site for 5 years and I see that the vitriol and sarcasm has not abated on the main forum in that time.

Alsop scored 930 runs at 42.2, albeit in Division 2, that is considerably more than any Hants player, but then you seem to be the cricket expert on here. The batsmen cost us the title, even you have to see that.

Fuller player of season, the bowlers excellent, the batsmen when it really mattered not good enough. what a terrible last 2 games to end an overall very good season. Giles White has recruited some very average players over the years and surely has to go, but seems as safe as Teflon Ralph. Prest has to come in next year with a new solid opener and perhaps we got rid of the wrong player in Alsop and kept the wrong one in Weatherly. Very, very pissed off and for the record I am a big fan of Rod Bransgrove.

Great season overall, Surrey unbeaten and beat us easily so unfortunately deserved winners of the title.
-
To play so well for so long and throw the outside chance of the title away in under 17 overs is galling to say the least. The second point is the fact we were 5th favourites for the title and Surrey were not even mentioned in the betting. You never know next year is 50 years since our last championship, we can all dream.
-
Play like that at home to Everton and we will lose a game we desperately need to win.

Moved to Launceston Cornwall last november. Came back in february to see mates and took in Norwich game, hope to get up before end of season. Miss watching Hampshire as well. Not all bad it is a nice place to live.
