I just can't believe that although we are top of the league there are fans who consistently moan. Would you rather we were in the same position as Pompey? That would give you something worth while to grunt about! Guly has scored some vital goals for us over the past couple of seasons yet he is the new fall guy. If someone told me that at the start of the season that come February we would be 2nd in the league I would have bitten their arm off. The problem here is that we have over achieved in the first half of the season and now expectation is to win every game. I think instead of everyone barking on about our relegation form or the ridiculous "Sack Atkins" knee jerk reaction we should just get behind the team and enjoy the football!

No brainier! IMO Rickie is the best player to put on a Saints shirt since MLT. He scores goals, creates problems for the opposition and has great vision. If he was playing in the League above he would be a certain for the Euros next year

I personally thought he was rubbish against Reading - 1. He gave the ball away too much, credit to that he chased back to try and win it back but shouldn't have lost it in the first place. 2. His passing was woeful - too many "hospital" balls 3. Has no pace- therefore couldn't go round his man, when he did mange to cross the ball it was useless. 4. he got caught on numerous occassions out of position 5. offered no cover for the full back He shouldn't be playing on the wing - but in the middle of the park.

Colchesters old ground - a couple of seasons ago went there, as the song goes I've got a shed, that's bigger than this!! As we entered the ground it become apparent that there wasn't enough room for all the supporters but yet the idiot on the PA kept saying "Can all the Southampton supporters move right into the stand to let everyone in". Nice idea of course if you want to die!

I taught Jordace for 4 years at school and although his attitude was not always the greatest all he talked about was football! I still say he has a bright future in the game and think we may regret releasing him if true.
