Agree… The fee (or should I say lack thereof) makes it a much better deal. I figured we’d be laying out a fair whack when the rumours broke, but for less than 1mil it’s a decent signing. Hes def too similar to the rest of our CMS though.

He’s just not what we need. I’m a big fan of him, but he is exactly the opposite of what we need. Hes not strong or powerful enough. He doesn’t dominate games. He’s not able to score free kicks anymore. If he wasn’t here before we’d never be interested. Cannot see it working well.

Have the club ever explained why we only played a couple of German farmers for pre-season? We looked lethargic and unfit again tonight, as we have done since the season began. I can’t help but feel like our preparation was completely undercooked.
