  1. But even with the chasm between us, left and right, we can both agree that sadoldgit seems a bit of a tit.
  2. It's always difficult to know when making a joke whether it is the teller or the reader that is at fault for not getting it...
  3. And rightly so, they've been an unmitigated disaster. But yes, I worry about Starmer's true politics. Not nearly left (or center) enough to bring around the proper change we need.
  4. Beware of The Lost Prophets as well...one of them for certain.
  5. He's a fan of Starmer - he's probably more right than you are mate. I was down the pub the other day with a Labour Councillor who was bemoaning the parties direction recently under Starmer, and he said that if someone saw Starmer as a Labour PM, they may as well be voting for Rishi, Truss or Bozzer.
  6. It's getting a little too late now - if we see the out that we were told could happen, then it's unlikely we will see the in that we expected in the above picture.
  7. Different players - Alcaraz came completely out of the blue.
  8. It's fucking Juventus. I'd go, and I've supported Saints for 40 years.
  9. We have been discussing it, at length, yes. The post-Brexit deal is as piss poor as it was before, but with a smaller market.
  10. I'm joking mate.
  11. Odd amount, five sevenths of a million Euros. I'd have just said €700k.
  12. Maybe because there are a lot of damn fine players in this country now.
  13. "He's not the messiah, he's a very naughty boy." He's a good manager, he's just not that amazing.
  14. It's much appreciated, don't you worry.
  15. Why would you assume he's interest only? Didn't even realise people still did that after all the issues people have encountered over the last 10 years.
  16. £800 to £2k? Over what number of years are you calculating that??? 250 years?
  17. Dalglish won more as well. Klopp is a bit over-rated tbh.
  18. Nope...
  19. He did - looked awesome.
  20. There's another cryptic clue in there as well.
  21. Look at the picture
  22. Close, but no cigar.
  23. As long as the spending is on infrastructure, and allows an increase in spending in the economy. Short term pain for long term gain.
  24. So, next little nugget, one player in and one player out, but the player out needs to go first:
  25. I know, but I didn't know anyone called Dave Benson, so thought I'd add the Phillips nugget as well to prove my sources.
