What this game has made me think is "who in our team could step up and score a goal like Cunha did?".
-
Agree with this. He's not a good manager but we have been seriously fucked over by refs this season, in really important games.
-
We're by far the better team, but that doesn't mean much. Another joke decision from the ref though.
-
Fingers crossed eh? 😒 #martino
-
It's because they can't be arsed to get dressed properly, not cos it's cool - it's the new pyjamas, slippers and dressing gown look.
-
Some posters on here were saying they'd prefer to have Sparky as Manager now than Martin, even after failing last time out at Bradford City.
-
...is another PL legend that will turn out to be an utterly shite Manager.

Netherlands is the 15th largest Jewish nation apparently - although only account for approximately 0.2% of the population. No idea if anti-Semitism is a thing there, or just idiots conflating two things, as Kraken said earlier.
-
Just wow. I think you can go sit in the humanity vacuum which is my "ignore" list. You can sit in there and discuss how children are fair game in war as long as they're brown/Muslim. I genuinely hope you never have to deal with the utter heartbreak of losing a child - whether they be black, white, Christian, Muslim, atheist - although it may teach to be something better than you are right now.
-
Absolutely. Shouldn't happen though, especially in the country of Anne Frank. However, the Dutch are known for having a bunch of fuckwits as football fans.
-
Interesting...wonder if they'll think the same when Netanyahu is invited to The Hague? Attacking football fans because of the appalling things their Governments do on their behalf is not on - however I do wonder whether they'd have done the same had Jon Stewart and a few mates popped over to watch the football? Or is it because they came from Tel Aviv?
-
Is it anti-Semitic or anti-Israeli? Big difference.
-
Reads like the equivalent of "Dig for Britain". Does that also include children, and specifically 'The ages most represented among the dead were five to nine-year-olds'? Are they also part of the Holy war? The weirdest thing about this is that there was no "it is awful to see kids dying because of their parents deeds" or "maybe the Israeli's should be a little more careful". I really find it fucking mindbogglingly disgusting that some of you people are happy to see innocent women and children die, and will go to all ends to justify it. No fucking humanity in you whatsoever. I would assume if your other halves or kids saw your posts they would be utterly appalled. Awful, awful people.

Not sure that's how footballers think tbh - most tend to be extremely driven from the ones that I have met and spoken to - nowadays you don't become a pro by not working hard and wanting to progress.
-
Not quite sure how we get to the 1:1 combat ratio that's being reported when 70% at least are not combatants (I am assuming that women and children aren't fighting for Hamas).
-
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn5wel11pgdo Hearty congrats all round to the Israeli's for this statistic.

That's just standard shit - happens at all clubs that are facing adversity and poor performances. TBF, there is a lot you can level at RM, and deservedly, but he is widely known for being an excellent man manager, and that the players do tend to like him.
-
You can fix two of those very easily, yes, and it should have been done a few weeks ago, but what can you do? The third may mean the other two changes were pointless though.
-
It was a joke mate, I was living in New York at the time so didn't get to any other games in the Koeman era.
-
Lack of set piece coach and poor decision making from the defenders.
-
Our defence certainly had a rest in the two 9-0s...
-
I think there is a fairly easy list of conclusions you can come to with Saints this season. 1. The Manager is not of PL quality. 2. The Backroom staff are not of PL quality. 3. The team as a whole is not of PL quality.
-
Absolutely, I remember going up to Sheffield United in the League Cup and really enjoying my evening. I seem to remember our fans booing Mane that night as well.
-
I don't personally think Martin can coach a defence. A manager, however, doesn't have to be a good coach - he just has to meld together the separate areas into a coherent unit. However, his backroom team needs to be able to coach. When our keepers were shit 5 or 6 years ago, we ended up getting rid of Dave Watson, the GK coach. We seem to concede a lot of goals from set pieces, yet we don't have a full time set piece coach. Colin fucking Calderwood is our defensive coach (another PL defender). Perhaps there is a further issue, and that is that the backroom team is incomplete and/or incompetent.
