  1. Then what is your point? We were discussing why the players throw it out in bad areas.
  2. Ok, so how did that contribute to today?
  3. These are professional footballers, not fucking toddlers. They don't need to be told to not throw the ball into dangerous areas.
  4. There is a weird obsession with making EVERYTHING Russ's fault. We get it, he's not learning and he should probably go, but at the same time we conceded 3 goals today and each one was because our players are not good enough. Goal 1: Shit underarm pass to the wrong player, poor pass back by Fernandes and a Sunday League quality misquick from Downes. Goal 2: Long ball up, McCarthy in no-mans land. Goal 3: Player misjudged the flight of the ball. I think he should go, and he has done more than enough to earn himself the sack this year, but don't just create reasons for him to go to make you feel better. There are 3 issues with the club and the reasons that we are going down are, in particular order: - The ownership not sacking Martin - Martin not adapting his philosophy as much as he needs to - The players being not PL quality - PSR not allowing us to invest in said PL quality players
  5. Probably because the previous time we pushed up they played a ball over the top and scored their second goal.
  6. I think you're wrong that for 60 minutes they didn't play the way Martin wants to play - Martin has consistently said he wants the ball forward quickly. Irrelevant though, we didn't lose today because of Martin. We lost because our players are a bit shit.
  7. And this is the issue. People can moan about the system all they like, and we do give the ball away in bad areas, but fuck me our players are accident prone. It's pathetic, and Bednarek, the walking mistake, isn't even playing.
  8. And another mistake. Players are not good enough.
  9. Would you not call it encouraging? Genuinely asking.
  10. Because our players aren't good enough maybe?
  11. Why is this the wrong game to gamble on? The chance is whatever team or tactics we put out we'll be beaten. Surely this is a free hit - exactly the type of game to gamble.
  12. Well, at least it seems like he's trying something different.
  13. That's a good summary of where we are at.

What, they deserve to have arrest warrants out for them as well? This doesn't work as they've also included Hamas members in their warrants.

Good. By all accounts they deserve it.
  16. Where's the poster that said his charity work and his foundation is also done to feed his ego? The hate is really odd.
  17. Yup, seems to be that tactic doesn't it?
  18. Happy to! I think the issue is more that some posters forget about it...
  19. Literally never said there was no money - SR have consistently shown they are happy to spend money. What I said we don't have the headroom in PSR to give us a good chance of staying up. As I said previously, I think we needed to spend nearly £200m to revamp the squad ready for the Prem. What I didn't say was that we couldn't spend £5-10m (or £1-2m real term for PSR purposes) on low wage, high upside players for next year's attempt at getting re-promoted. In fact I expressly said it and that is the likely transfers we'd see. Quite funny that after I said it we started looking at young players. What a coincidence. Again.
  20. What they probably won't be doing is chasing the dragon of staying in the Premier League and spending on players like in Jan 2023. Strategy allows relegation by the look of things.
  21. "We spend £1billion a week on defence. Let's fund our NHS instead" Should attract approx 52% of the population. Could put it on the side of a tank. Or an aircraft carrier.
  22. Don't you mean "That planet was explored..."?
  23. Seem to be looking to invest in lots of young, high upside players. That's strange, if we wanted to stay up surely we'd be looking for players who are good to go now and can help us this season. It's as if it's part of a wider strategy...
  24. I'm not sure who you're arguing against here - I don't think anyone thinks he's revolutionary or a visionary. In fact I think the overwhelming majority of people want him gone. It's just a case of who comes in to replace him, and that is more of an issue (and considering we made approaches after the Leicester game the board aren't unaware). No-one good is interested.
  25. He also had much, much better players at his disposal.
