  1. He's with Lucy Pinder.
  2. Ah, so it was your wife he was caught fingering in the New Forest!
  3. Voting yes - not because I think he deserves it particularly - we have a good Championship team but nowhere near a PL team - but mainly because it's splitting the fan base and if we need Championship players to be good enough for the Prem we need the fans behind them. Who to replace him with though, that's the million dollar question?
  4. Brighton fans aren't convinced...
  5. I don't think we're going to agree on this, our team is very poor IMO and I'm not sure the calibre of Manager we'll be looking to bring in is good enough to mask those deficiencies. Either way I think Martin splits the fan base too much. It's a shame as I imagine he will do well in the future as he's only 38 and he will continue to learn. Not sure many Managers have become competent PL managers at that age, but sobeit.
  6. A number of people didn't rate Delap...
  7. It is about opinions, but imo you are massively, MASSIVELY, overrating our players, and underrating Bournemouths. Yes the managament has been poor this season, but the players haven't shown anything either. If Bournemouth aren't a relegation rival, the who is? Take out those that got promoted with us as we need to finish above at least one of last seasons PL teams. TP has never scored a PL goal, and has only scored in 3rd rate leagues. ABK wasn't used in the Dutch League. Suga is too early to say whether he is PL quality. There is a reason that THB was not bought by Kompany at Burnley, and he's shown that this season. Downes is a bang average PL player. Cornet the same at best. Dibling may be, but he is young and showed a lot of naivety yesterday. If you think our team is that good you are going to be perpetually disappointed, whether we have Martin or Guardiola as manager.
  8. He's not been good this season when he has played, but yes, traditionally. 2 players getting into our relegation rivals, and at a push because Kepa is a decent keeper as well. Blimey.
  9. But who - which players could we afford considering the transfer and wage restrictions.
  10. What a load of crap - we had a Championship team then, and a Championship team now. How many of our team get into Bournemouth's team last night? Ramsdale and... And they're meant to be a relegation rival.
  11. But we can't do anything about it - poor purchases from 2 years ago are fucking us and we can't get rid of them. It's the PSR cycle for relegated teams. £80m to spend on 8 players and average wage of £50k pw - let's say we reduced that to 6 players, we don't end up with anything particularly better.
  12. I don't think that was the choice though, the choice was more like 2 or 3 quality players versus the 8 we brought in. And then our squad would be threadbare. Don't forget its both transfer fee AND wages. PSR has fucked us, but always was going to - it's why I said last season, over and over, that getting promoted was not the best thing for the club. To compete in the PL now you need at least 2 years in the Championship with a strong core of a team.
  13. Yup - been banging this drum since last Summer but no-one has been listening.
  14. Dont try and look up the Ivory Coast striker we're looking at for January, Bukkake.
  15. He's trying something new from a striker pov. We have been so woeful up front that he'd try anything. What he tried was fucking shit though.
  16. Lallana is still pure class.
  17. We have scored you know?
  18. We done a goal.
  19. Just out of interest, how did Leeds get relegated with their team 2 years ago. Mental.
  20. Agreed, sadly. Had my best day ever as a Saints fan last season so got to say thank you to him for that.
  21. Yeah, we've signed shit players, but we were always going to struggle when we don't have the wage structure to buy experienced players to surround those like Fernandes. You can't sign a team of 20 year old from abroad that might make it.
  22. To be fair everyone lost their mind last week when we didn't beat Ipswich, so why wouldn't he change the team?
  23. Didn't say it was, I'm putting it on the manager and the players. The fact our fans seem to be entitled pricks is just frustrating though.
