We have a team of good Championship players and two proven PL players (Ramsdale and KWP). That just doesn't cut it in the PL, sorry. I'm sure we will be become more competitive, but still not competitive enough to be anything other than bottom 3.

I can't imagine how others could think any differently. We have a lack of PL quality players and the bookies had us as favourites to go down, so if you think any differently I'd probably suggest that this expectations are the problem rather than the Manager. We played well against Newcastle and we're undone by Macca. We weren't good against Forest full stop. We were poor in the first, but better in the 2nd half against Brentford yet shit the bed (once again because our defenders fucked up) and we were great against United until we missed the penalty and lost our way. We haven't been good overall though.

Not sure he can expect to stay up - if he does he's pretty deluded. We've got a team devoid of PL quality (2 players currently I'd say) and a Manager with an inconsistent philosophy (results wise).

I think our biggest problem will be if we get rid of RM, we'll bring in Gareth Southgate - similar style of football, more defensively sound but also far less attacking threat (which is mad to think considering how we've played this season).

It is very boring, but the problem is that CF and IF are not differentiated, but they are very different positions. That's the point. It's like saying that both Smallbone and Downes play Centre-mid - you're all thinking far too basic. If we're playing a front 3 he'd have to play as a traditional number 9, hold the ball up etc, like Che did last year. That's not what he's done in the past. If we want him to work we need to play him up top in a support role off the main striker (Stewart or Onuachu) or go to a very narrow 3 with him on the left (although that just wouldn't work). Either way, decent win last night.

I never said he was a winger, I said he's an inside forward. He is not a Centre Forward. A Centre Forward is a type of striker, the same as an Inside Forward is a type of striker. But one is very different to the other in terms of role and position and an Inside forward involves pulling wide and running into channels. He's never been a proper centre forward.

Can I just say, BBD is not a striker, he's an inside forward and has always played in that position, so stop asking for him to play up front.
