  1. No, cos that's Balance Sheet, not P&L.
  2. Because we had an approx £100m drop in revenue in the Championship last season. In 2021/2022 we made a £43m loss without the sale of players. So... 2022/2023: £120m loss 2023/2024: £85m profit 2024/2025: £70m loss (including £25m in transfers) Means a loss of £105m over 3 years. Next season we will be able to make a £120m loss, so £75m in transfers. Please also remember that player sales are included against that year's P&L, whereas transfers are amortised over the length of the contract, so every year we are still paying for legacy players.
  3. FFP. Next year will be very different due to the 3 year rolling commitments.
  4. As said the other day, and I will repeat until the end of the window, we do not have much money to spend - at all. Expect Downes and then very low expenditure.
  5. This isn't an opinion btw.
  6. 2023/2024? But the point is all teams tend to sell when they go down (and not many spend the money we did in January 23).
  7. The point is financially we are the same now, because we spent too much Jan 23 and got relegated - essentially it puts our profit/loss at a point similar to being in the Championship 2022/2023. FFP and that transfer window has scuppered our ability to spend this season, hence it's the equivalent of being a yoyo club.
  8. It it's not politics, it's rules.
  9. I don't want to give too much away, as we all know LLSS, but we do not have much money to spend this season due to FFP - capital outlay has been huge over the last 2 seasons with a huge downturn in revenue. This is why teams like Norwich, Burnley and WBA have never been able to break the yoyo cycle (in a positive way). There is some money, just not loads, unless we recoup from sales. Please bear in mind the £20m odd for Taylor Bellis, and there is money for Downes, but outside of that it is likely to be free's/low transfer fees.
  10. Just re-post this one - another CoT exclusive.
  11. He's not going to play much anyway, he's a bench option for a year.
  12. There's some bitter, bitter people on here. Welcome back Adam.
  13. Was it by someone from the CoT? If not, it's probably someone talking shit. Wolves are in for him (as are others) but no done deal yet. It's all about the Benjamins, and not all bids are in yet.
  14. Yep, the deal is done. Will hopefully be announced in the next couple of days.
  15. I do believe he may be part of our West Ham sisterhood though, the HoT, or Hammers of Truth.
  16. Outside of Ings in 2019, we haven't had a Premier League player score 14 goals since JayRod in 2013 😳
  17. He's just played 8 games more in the Championship, so I think hell be fine.
  18. So from what I've gathered here, CB Fry's missus was fucked by Adam Lallana. And Egg is CB Fry's missus.
  19. I don't know why people are getting so annoyed - he won't play much as he can't last games anymore - he'll be a bench option to open up games where we struggle (which we did a lot last season) and an experienced head on the bench. Also, yes he acted a bit badly, but the club weren't going to let him go and he had a chance to double his money - everyone else would do the same on here, and if you say you wouldn't you're a fucking liar. I seem to remember he did take out a full page advert to say goodbye because the club wouldn't let him, and he didn't have to do that.
  20. But it may have to do with his recollection of events or bias for or against Adam.
  21. Yes, but Matt Le Tissier is a fucking fruitloop who believes the below, so not sure I would take his version of events... https://onefootball.com/id/berita/11-of-matt-le-tissiers-wildest-conspiracy-theories-from-vaccines-to-the-communist-takeover-37793318
  22. @OldNick is a great bloke as well 👍
  23. He'll have made far more money as well.
  24. It's not an exact science - things happen, plans change beyond our control. However, the information is always there, and ahead of time.
