This is precisely why transfer windows in the UEFA region need to close on 31 July every summer to help players, agents, clubs and others with their focus and basic organisation which none of the parties seem capable of. Having a 3 month window is too long and disruptive. Not as if players are required to give 3-6 months notice period as most employees are in the real world. DoFs at the top two divisions level are more than capable of dealing with their managers’ wish lists in that timeframe.
