People in parallel are pleased with the lack of pissing around the back putting ourselves under pressure but when it gets into midfield Downes and Jander and struggling with the pressing and pace of the game. Matsuki has done better than I thought he would, Scienza quiet and AA poor although hitting diagonal balls into him isn’t helpful.

Even with a much stronger team, we nearly conceded twice in the first 15 mins down there in 2019. Get to 20 mins 0-0, if we can sneak ahead even better.

Tonda has certainly put pressure back on himself. If it doesn’t work, he’s toast. Obviously I hope that it does.

Needs work for Tonda because a defeat and he’s a goner, will be hounded at the next home game. Given they are so depleted, draw probably isn’t sufficient either.

It’s a massive gamble by Tonda dropping Fellows and starting Matsuki. If it pays off and we win - buys him to the end of the season. If we lose and/or Matsuki is sent off - sack.

By 2.30 we’ll know if it’s worked or not. Pleased at the back 4 but I wouldn’t have dropped Fellows as him and Bree could see working well and their full backs were suspect at SMS. Matsuki is a very risky selection but if he cracks one in the top bins…
