  1. The banks do, under the Trump family umbrella.
  2. Peretz fee covered basically, Charles, BBD, Sugawara, Ramsdale if there’s a buyer, Aribo and McCarthy hefty wages gone, Sugawara. THB probably does go but quite a bit of any fee can be re-invested, ditto if there are silly bids for Jandar or Leo.
  3. Pays for Daniel Peretz though and a little bit of Larin. Goalkeeper urgently needed sorting out so that’s a welcome bonus for Saints.
  4. He’s a good player but not what Saints need at the moment so good luck to him at Stoke. Coates Bet365 empire worth a bit so new regs probably a factor.
  5. Charles has quite a bit of international experience additionally. Been part of City’s academy set-up long-term before moving.
  6. Stood marking space.
  7. According to Twatterface, Sugawara was once at Southampton. Unless Bremen took up their option to buy which they didn’t, surely he still is? The club would like to move him on with Bree first choice I’m sure.
  8. Player has moved to that area, if he’s willing to compromise a bit on bonuses/wages then it may be Saints can on the fee
  9. He may feature in the last 16 and he’s played (and scored) in a World Cup Finals already. Something Best, Rush, Hughes, Channon, and plenty of other high quality players never go to do.
  10. Blatant penalty to Canada not given and VAR didn’t refer it.
  11. You didn’t need to add the T20 bit.
  12. Looks like a Kent win - they are a very good side in this format, as are Hants.
  13. Vince was going to get a score at some stage. Astonished at what I’m watching at Trent Bridge - Stokes’s retirement was saddening but I understand it. Opening the batting? Giving his wicket away when set? Brook the wanker holing out for 21 off 9 balls. NZ are down to 2 fit fast bowlers and obvious to grind them down and put away the bad ball. But no, Bazball at its worst. New coach please.
  14. St Lawrence Ground with its shorter boundaries tends to be high scoring. Their batting line up is dangerous - Crawley, Drummond-Bell, Billings and Stewart (whose six broke a window on Friday night v Notts) - but their bowling whilst on paper decent, perhaps being too samey, struggles to defend hence losing last 3 blast fixtures.
  15. Swap Germany for Argentina and I agree with you.
  16. At least it’s been livelier with Eze and Watkins on.
  17. Till 5 at Aldi is now open.
  18. Panama more dangerous as evidenced there allied to standing off and letting them have a crack at the England goal.
  19. Good cure for insomnia 🛌 😴 💤
  20. Some of the Harvester unlimited salad might perk them up at half-time hopefully.
  21. Further hypocrisy
  22. Well done Kevin Hollinrake and Fiona Bruce for exposing Zia for having applied to be a candidate, being declined yet criticising Burnham
  23. You saw the tipping articles as well https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/clyxgjykx7lo I’ve never minded tipping well in restaurants over there when the service has been good (as it often has been) but as the article states, expecting customers to make up wages well below why at they should be for just selling you a bottle of water that’s already in a fridge is bizarre and a signed of how fucked up their economy and society is.
  24. To you or I, yes, but the locals around here would not have a bar of that. The incendiary aspect is the modest amount of social housing (in amongst houses costing up towards £1m - affordability for families who have always lived here is as big an issue here as Devon or Cornwall). Also, the fact it’s in the middle of nowhere and far more basic means it has some deterrent built in for the asylum seekers who are coming for economic reasons. If you’re genuinely escaping persecution, the peace and quiet wont bother you.
  25. That’s been going on for years, decades even relating to the former airfield. My parents lived in Butlocks Heath/Netley for 25 years.
