I’ve held seven figure contracts and you always refer back to the T&Cs you negotiated at the time of acceptance. This is really, really basic stuff.

The EFL are almost as bad as SFC. Very poor processes and policies. When meshed with VAR and Infantino, it really is a piss poor sport these days.

This is the root of it. These type of things happen within football clubs but it’s how they’ve handled it on a professional level on different levels. Very naive and keystone cops. It should be the cue for SR to realise football isn’t for them and sell up in quick order.

There’s something we agree on but things are sensitive with the fans so I’d focus on SR. The sheer scale and depth of their operational, legal and regulatory bloopers emerging is staggering. And I’ve been a J Cloth coming into organisations to sort them out after they shat the bed. Parsons, Tonda, possibly Spors, HR and legal not getting Taylor on an NDA - the environment was totally out of control. I’ve seen some serious stuff in the outside world but the ineptitude at the club is astonishing even so.

Leave it alone, he’s/she’s a troll. Always deflecting blame onto the fanbase when the club/board/owners comes under scrutiny so this was never going to be any different.

If he’d been under NDA on a package as he should have been it never transpires. Industrial ineptitude. Most of us would be fired for it.

If Parsons hadn’t run off the mouth, it’s probably less of a firestorm. The lad who went back to Boro should be under an NDA. SFC HR and Legal fucked up there seemingly. The alleged pictures of jokes and being in army gear in December paint a grim picture of the culture. Seemingly bullying allegations too in the mix.

That’s what NDAs are for.

On the cheap like everything else. I’m not an expert in the football industry but I’d have done a miles better job defending the club’s interests if they were a client. And tell Phil Parsons to concentrate on the buffet, preferably avoid the boardroom there at all.

That’s not how it is when there’s been a serious fuck up at an organisation because I’ve had to clean them up. Stay away from aggrieved/aggregated parties until facts are fully established and if it’s going to a tribunal/panel keep your fucking powder dry until that convenes. At least might have limited the damage even though it was very unlikely to be his fault in the first place. Tonda and Spors will down the road but to have fuelled the flames further in the media was stupid in the extreme. This is a guy who has probably dealt with James Dyson’s IP at some stage.

And probably fuelled the media firestorm even further. Parsons should be out of the door along with Tonda. SR - do the decent thing and sell asap even if you lose your shirt. You’ve sullied a city of 300k people reputationally. Bad results are one thing but this is beyond the pale. Go, go now.

I’m amazed Dyson put up with him for so long. Naive isn’t the word. In my profession he’d be giving the game away in 5 seconds flat. Someone like him should never be anywhere near negotiating. He should at least have done the due diligence about Gibson and Morris.

Who is supervising him though? He should lose his job and should have referred to the EFL rule book. It’s what everyone has to do at work. A builder from mainland Europe doesn’t just turn up and sling an extension at someone’s property without reference to planning regulations and local processes.

Gardening leave, internal investigation and gross misconduct sacking I’d have assumed. Not that I care tbh. Club and city badly damaged well beyond today’s sporting sanction. That’s only a surface level issue. Needs several years under brand new, component, clean, ambitious ownership. Years of abuse for the fans to endure before, during and after games for a while I’m afraid.

That will be the last football match I have an interest in for quite some time. Hull should’ve had a bye. SFC are just another football club to me until SR, Tonda, Parsons and anyone else involved in this shambles are gone lock, stock and barrel. Not sure I’d take an interest again even with new ownership although maybe after a few years associating with the club might feel less grubby. Fuck the WC too with Infantino and Trump.

SR fully gone is the only bare minimum satisfactory. Tonda ditto, Parsons etc. I’d change to the original badge as well.

They can’t, Dragan, take the hit and get the club sold up quickly.
