  1. 🎵 Matty Fernandes, he’ll pay the (EFL) fine for you 🎵
  2. Oh I agree with you, whoever is on power is ‘in hock to the markets’ anyway because of the Covid debts, Trump’s war and slashed economy post-Brexit. It won’t be any different for him. Truss said similar and look what happened… Him or Streeting are much better orators than Starmer and less reticent on difficult decisions which listening to the public seems to be biggest gripe with the status quo. If I was a Labour member and I gave a shit about the country as well as the party being in power, I’d want Streeting or Mahmood. But I’m not, and I reckon their headbangers would prefer Burnham. And he’s better than Miliband or Rayner, that was my point.
  3. I also trust their membership to get a leadership selection right as much as I trusted the Conservatives recent membership base e.g. Truss. So that means Miliband or bloody Rayner. Best the country can hope for probably is the timetable option and wait for Burnham to win a seat. Ought to be Streeting or Mahmood but not sure the headbangers in their membership would support either.
  4. They’ll want to win but a point would be alright. Can’t see West Ham winning at Newcastle.
  5. That, after the Red Cross spokesman whopper as well. On top of Reform’s holocaust-denying, Nigerian pot-hole melting candidates, and Tice’s refusal to condemn them, the people who voted populist in either direction must be feeling so proud….
  6. Just as in 2010 and 2015, when they’re actually needed they cock it up, or rather the far left does.
  7. Round here (I’m technically in Tewkesbury Borough which covers quite a few areas) they quite possibly could be that stupid at the local council.
  8. Few years ago mind but you’re not that far off https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/britains-cheapest-house-is-750-in-port-1355162
  9. Still hanging out with violent white supremacists as well. https://bylinetimes.com/2026/05/06/reform-uk-refuses-to-explain-why-nigel-farage-met-and-posed-with-man-criminally-convicted-for-violent-attack-on-anti-racism-meeting-at-a-church/
  10. What a treat the likes of Havering can look forward to https://www.opendemocracy.net/reform-uk-nigel-farage-voters-wary-broken-promises-racism/
  11. Don’t think his body is up to anything else at this stage.
  12. Let’s keep it accurate.
  13. It’s called Levelling Up. Gets addictive for left behind areas after a couple of rounds.
  14. The Bell End
  15. In the sense that he hasn’t been imprisoned for kicking someone in the head, that’s certainly true.
  16. The fact that Tice gave the whataboutery response showed how emboldened Reform are and the very racist origins underneath are showing through. The only positive is that along with a total absence of policies nearer the GE is that this increased boldness will be their undoing + tactical voting. The Greens have been widely anti-Semitic too, but that’s irrelevant to the Neo-Nazi comments of his own candidate. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cm2pyy6ngz0o Exact quotes here plus a wider selection of racism, sexism and homophobia https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/uk/melt-them-down-and-fill-in-the-potholes-reform-uk-candidate-who-made-remarks-against-nigerians-wins-key-seat-in-england/articleshow/130980205.cms
  17. This is the crux of why the public aren’t keen. In the newspapers’ case, it’s because he enable the successful prosecution of organised crime by the Murdoch’s and Beaverbrooks. He could change his way of oration (as Thatcher did between opposition and power) but it’s too late IMO.
  18. 🎵 You’re not allowed to vote, you’re not allowed to vote 🎵 😉
  19. Dawse has been/still injured and not fully fit I heard. Currie is playing like white ball fodder, Yusuf is the worst Hants overseas player I’ve ever seen. Yes, worse than Hampton. Was Fuller injured before this? Please tell me Russell Domingo wasn’t daft enough not to utilise him if fit and available? Bar him, Abbott, Lehmann and Brown its very grim. Gubbins had a better game at least.
  20. 🎵 We’re in your hedge, in your head—-dge, in your hedge, in your hedge, in your hedge, hedge, hedge! 🎵
  21. Free alternative to raisins for them on Teeside.
  22. Allegedly corrupt, if you read Private Eye. His uncle Keith did score an iconic goal in the 1987 FA Cup final though. https://northeastbylines.co.uk/news/politics/auditor-rebukes-houchen-over-governance-claim/
  23. Best orator they have and not afraid to make unpopular decisions. Some will clearly have an issue with his sexuality but they’re firmly in the Brexit bloc anyway.
  24. This is the stand - 63/2, 25 ahead, Gubbins and Lehmann. Need both to go on here.
  25. GE very last thing a highly divided country needs right now with the fall out from Trump and Mad Ben, markets twitchier than Harry Redknapp as it is. Nobody is anywhere near an overall majority and it’d either be a Remain or Brexit coalition, as if those fissures haven’t been sore enough since 2016. But yes, Starmer clearly toast. I suspect it’ll be Streeting but he may be waiting for the US mid-terms to disable MAGA who will be too busy fighting impeachment to hurl homophobic hate across the Atlantic.
