  1. I agree, but it also shows what football and society today is like.
  2. This is what gets me. I’ve not been to SMS for 9 years after being driven away by Pellegrino’s football and not wanting association with an owner who failed FAPP. So it should be said that living 100 miles away that I’ve not got much skin in the game. But I think of my 15 year old self who would be distraught beyond measure. And all of you who have travelled far and wide for games like I used to in the 90s, 00s and 10s. The injustice is that Boro should never be re-instated, Hull get a bye. But my long-dwindling affection for SFC has just probably gone and certainly the city’s MPs should be saying on the quiet ‘Dragan, sell up mate, this is going to get ugly’. The economic and reputationally impact for the city of my birth will be difficult too. Doesn’t help the council bidding for funds, universities, OS, major firms for contracts etc.
  3. Has to be. Club is simply not supportable whilst they own the club.
  4. Lack of ongoing levelling up funding, immigrants or some other Red Wall type anger issue.
  5. Boro really have made a Scafell Pike out of a Roseberry Topping.
  6. American golf galleries again. Why does this moron need to shout ‘USA!’ at Rory in last nights PGA? https://talksport.com/golf/4265391/rory-mcilroy-heckling-fan-pga-championship-aaron-rai/ Also, there was an annoying kid on the 13th who asked every pro if he could have their ball. Did anyone else hear it? Brilliant to see England’s Aaron Rai win though, brilliant back 9. Got to be a contender for the Ryder Cup next year.
  7. Choice of: - Believe in Domingo as head coach, mass turnover of players and let the out of contract batters go back to local cricket/minor counties and full time employment. Keep Gubbins for a one more year but but not as an opener. - Or if the club believe in the younger players as a bulk cohort (some of them are far from young now though) and try changing the coach. Domingo needs a fast start in the Blast but can’t see it with these players.
  8. Both as bad and as racist each other IMHO.
  9. Fine dining always cheers James up. Not this time though..oh shit, it’s James Cordon the other diners yell. Just a wafer thin mint sir?
  10. They did a good job though, keeping the two odious groups apart. Robinson’s rally got just half the numbers of September’s, the football thugs wanted to watch the FA Cup final it seems. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckgpznn202po
  11. Policing both of todays ludicrous and unnecessary rallies costing £4.5m https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3d2ryyz0jzo The Unite the Flag/NF one saying white working class people are discriminated against. If they weren’t intent on being violent and listening to racists speaking, how many white, working class people would receive life-saving operations with £4.5m? A: rather a lot.
  12. Police caught the two National Front responsible for the hit and run in Stirchley trying to join today’s parade of thugs (sane applies to the Palestinian March as well) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx217901n00o
  13. Notts 52-1 in response to our 214. Decent 55 from Organ, guessing he might be our Dawson replacement. Some pace attack for Notts - O’Neill, Tongue and Stone.
  14. There’s 156,160 more of them as well.
  15. I remember Neil Maddison living in Hedge End and his debut goal for us. Good lad.
  16. Just imagining a Teeside accent in Taggart tones - ‘There’s been a murder like’.
  17. Bild will get rid of him,
  18. Out of a job soon like most of them are there. Very hollowed out, loss making operation even with the German takeover.
  19. Do it and Saints follow suit with legal action, that horrific rag the Barclay brothers have ruined will go out of business. Win win.
  20. Paul Allen thread probably as well.
  21. To be fair I’d give them £5m + him if it got him off our hands for a season. I might even dislike Boro slightly less.
  22. Needs to work on his twitch.
  23. The Billingham effect.
  24. There was certainly one in a Matalan tracksuit gesturing at the home sections from Tuesday night. Can’t recall which thread it was one but @Miltonaggro posted it IIRC
  25. BBC and Sky have been almost as bad as BBC Radio Tees and their local rag. Then Telegraph, Mail and Guardian. Hope the latter trio fold - they have very few staff left, AI is king - and BBC gets made into a subscription service.
