I’d imagine Fernandes as well as the sell on is funding the last of West Ham’s installments on JWP. I know of last summer they still owed quite a bit of the total.

The Starmer Years - Can The New Broom Sweep Clean?

Martin Lewis highlighting the madness of the energy/water markets. We spend the time shopping around but are in the economic position to do so. People on low incomes/young families/unwell people don’t -
Not just MPs, look at the football agent gravy train, which is proving impossible for even FIFA and the PL to derail https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/clyxnpvl7wdo

I’m fairly certain what’s published excludes agents fees so yes, net. IIRC FIFA tried to cap agent commissions from selling clubs at 10% and 3% of player wages but it faced legal challenges. The PL has been trying to embed the agent fees within the new SCR rules but Quelle surprise the agencies are challenging this legally as well. You can see why as well, enormous gravy train for very little actual workload. To think people moan about politicians…https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/clyxnpvl7wdo

That’s halved his family debts owed to the banks from before he returned to the White House then.

That’d be a reasonable deal I agree. The two sell on fees for MF and ABK - not clear how much the latter is - more or less cover Peretz and Larin fees so tidy so far. THB will make another big chunk in what’s required and a buyer for Ramsdale would help. Sugawara sold would be even better. Aribo, McCarthy, Smallbone and other wages off the payroll.

One can argue the only Brexit benefits are those being claimed by the extra non-EU incomers. Ironically.
-
It is indeed. Not even good lazy as Chat GPT shows it’s 15% of profit let alone reading any articles from when he was sold last summer.

That was my understanding, he left rather than released. He does look a decent pick for a Champ club at lower-mid table/survival level. Factless needs some more Kleenex delivered however and a sense of proportion - 7 goals in 92 appearances at a lower level doesn’t exactly make him Dusan Tadic https://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football/portsmouth-fc/portsmouth-fc-bailey-transfer-birmingham-stockport-8773339

That’s Portsmouth levels of sad.

It’s of the profit not total fee, but should be £6.5m so ESPN’s maths is dodgy.

Nice selective quoting 🦆- I said Boris and Farage. Former was Vote Leave, latter Leave.EU. I hold them equally responsible for wiping 6% off of the UK’s economy. Aided and abetted by plenty of useful wallies.
-
Kept a sell on if Alfie was correct. Don’t know what %. £8.5m. 10% would be £850k, 15% £1.275m, 20% £1.7m. Tidy little profit for Verona and covers a good chunk of Larin’s fee. https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25817125.southampton-reportedly-agree-sell-bella-kotchap-serie-side/ https://www.facebook.com/transfermarkt.global/posts/️-venezia-reinforce-at-the-back-with-armel-bella-kotchap-who-joins-from-hellas-v/1482288047274316/

Given he was earning the same as Aaron Ramsdale was last season as a smuggler, he can afford plenty of nuggets. Gold ones if he wanted. Get him gone asap under a tribunals system (so a doddery judge can’t be tied in knots by his very expensive lawyer) false name, driving without licence, evidence building rapidly of his past.
-
There’s the £6.5m https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13559479/mateus-fernandes-transfer-news-midfielder-set-for-medical-after-spurs-beat-man-utd-to-lb85m-deal Daniel Peretz fee paid for.
-
I agree, although there’s still ample evidence to kick him out with a brief hearing and keep him out. Driving around without a licence, can deport him for that as well.

Lee Dixon is alright, if a bit dour, but Matterface is appalling.

If Pakistan won’t play ball then economic sanctions, banning their students from our top universities or refusal to consider family visa and/or applications for asylum applications should all be on the table as levers to pull to enforce Ahmed and his family’s return there https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0jy53n8q1do Mahmood just enforced it with study visas with 4 nations https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cx2jy74895eo -
