Normally I’d agree with you but MAGA and Trump’s administration has interfered all over the place in Europe - Vance’s speech, meetings with the AFD, Musk who was part of the administration starting to pump large sums of funding behind Rupert Lowe, Tommy Robinson being shown around the US Department of Defence (update: tissue stocks have plummeted in Kent). Rules are gone until Trump is gone. If he chickens out on the mid-terms where he’ll get a hiding (and get impeached afterwards) because of the cost of living, tariffs and Ben’s crazy wars, suspend their membership of all major global governance bodies and move the UN HQ to Paris. Hit their prestige where it hurts. Re-entry on probation of holding fair and free elections for 20 years and the Founding Fathers’ guardrails back in place. Germany came back much stronger and better after a period of punishment post-WW2 - WW1 went too far - and American can as well, but there has to be consequences for Trump’s and MAGA behaviour.
