I’ve effectively had an enforced mostly dry February and March so far with this git of a chest infection which I got after the antibiotics I took to sort my sinus infection meant all of the crap settled there instead.

Everyone is and always been skint in January, regardless of who is in power. Christmas is a blowout for families and people go easier in January and sometimes February. Plus you have the Dry January campaigns etc and the weather isn’t great. Not difficult really and not changed since I was a nipper in Southampton.

Also, what’s happening in the Houthi Strait rather contradicts his senile nonsense. I always said that Americans can vote for who they want but unlike his first term when there were some guardrails, I’d have a problem if his madness starting impacting my family and our finances. That’s definitely happening so the American electorate are the enemy from my perspective. Israel needs its claws clipped back too. Defend themselves in that region, absolutely yes, but not decimate whole countries and territories at the will of Mad Ben.
