  1. Which is why the likes of the Newcastle North Chair threw it in last weekend in protest at that somewhat increased level of coordination and discipline - you can’t keep a loose coalition mavericks and Tory rejects together intact for very long. Especially when what unites them is all about what they don’t like. I can only imagine what some of the online racism we are now hearing about was like given the type of party they are. https://www.itv.com/news/2025-06-05/why-has-zia-yusuf-quit-reform-uk
  2. And was always going to happen by the summer. Trump’s blown his fuse faster than I thought though. Not sure the Democrats would welcome Musk back but he could turn the GOP against the budget - it doesn’t need much at all on the Senate numbers - and finance opponents in the mid-terms to hand both Houses back to the Democrats and make Trump totally lame. Quality day with MAGA USA and UK imploding spectacularly in public.
  3. When he’s also a major donor - £200k last summer - a verdict of ‘not worth my time trying to get Reform elected is damning. Lowe sticking the boot into Farage as well.
  4. Good luck to him there, genuinely. That league needs the Old Firm battling it out and Rangers actually winning it more than once a generation. It’ll be even better if Bloom’s investment in Hearts gets them competing at the top and maybe Aberdeen getting bought to build on their cup win and illustrious past. He needs to get an Old Firm win under his belt early on. Wonder if he’ll come in for Aribo? Joe would earn more at Galatasaray but he is a favourite at Rangers, Saints won’t ask an unreasonable fee and one of our highest earners. Great way to get their fans onside.
  5. The people who vote for them must have come down in the last shower. Naive doesn’t come close. Who is defining world class FFS? And why would say the IT or computational equivalent Pep Guardiola say decide he wants to do free work experience at Maidstone FC? 1.6m people in Kent, plenty of bank details and benefit records they can plunder/sell to Russian donors, sorry, I meant access. @sadoldgit there’s some nice places in Sussex who won’t vote for shysters like Reform, I’d move if I were you before their ‘world class’ IT wizards steal your information.
  6. And in Kent, thats pretty much word for word what Musk and his McDonalds crew sent around for Trump https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/jun/02/reform-uk-to-pilot-doge-style-scheme-to-examine-council-spending Well done Kent, take a bow. You must be so proud. Ed Davey is spot on at the end. If you’re looking at DOGE and thinking that’s how we get our bins collected and potholes filled, you are learning the wrong lesson. Unfortunately, Reform’s voters generally didn’t pay much attention either in school or on their apprenticeships. Too boring, a bit like all of the council meetings and forums they’ve cancelled where key decisions need to be made. And boring like Parliament where Farage and Tice never are.
  7. Reform in local government proving the same grifters as when they were UKIP in Thanet. Similar story in Kent CC too

Private Eye reporting also that the DT had to print the 9th prominent correction in as many months about a blatantly incorrect story (about Miliband and Net Zero this time) to prevent them being sued. Plenty to pick holes in with the government, not sure why they need to resort to 🤥 If their American takeover doesn’t happen very soon, I think the doors are closing because they are a colander financially as well as a very pale, culture war shadow of their former selves.
  9. Aaaand as a predicted widely….they’ve fallen out by the summer https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0j76djzgpvo Trump yet to reciprocate but he can’t help himself and it won’t be long.
  10. Even that looks nice though, albeit not as lovely as the 76/77 variant. Compare it to last season’s vile effort compounded by the very tacky logo.
  11. My old man always said Ron Davies could head a ball harder than most could kick it at the time. The Man U and Chelsea away displays sounded like centre forward masterclasses.
  12. Sad to see Ramsdale go but would glad to see THB move on for the right fee. He looked very uncomfortable in a back 5/central 3 every time and just not sharp in general even in a 4,
  13. It’s the first replica kit for 8 years that I’d actually buy and wouldn’t look daft in as a middle aged bloke in a medium size. Last season’s were horrific, especially the Barbie away kit. I’m not against using pink but that was vile. That black/red pin-striped away design @Carozzi posted on here looked nice too as something I could wear other than at the games, although that would be a third kit as they’re understandably going to go yellow/blue on the first away kit. Even that looked really nice.
  14. Birmingham away he wasn’t any better defensively either. I didn’t expect him to be brilliant defensively from the reports at Swansea but I did expect him to be a lot better going forward with assists, and the odd goal here and there going by reputation.
  15. I remember someone posting on S4E that they’d been sat near MLT at the Plymouth home game which Saints lost 0-2 and should have been many more. Euell was subbed and the crowd chanted ‘wanker, wanker’ and jeered him. MLT allegedly turned around to some of those jeering and said ‘that’s a bit harsh. Mind you, he was total crap tonight though’ 😂
  16. It was even more than £1m, £1.2 or £1.3m IIRC. My friends in the NW scouting network were shocked, put it that way.
  17. Forest and Villa are former European Champs and title winners tbf. Brighton, Brentford and Bournemouth are having their days in the sun, but not in the same bracket as that Midlands pair. Brighton have the best chance and infrastructure to establish further and win a major trophy.
  18. Unfortunately MAGA UK (aka Reform) are mindlessly copying the shambles Musk initiated there, even down to the anonymous tech bro (no doubt a shady Reform donor) If you live in Kent, lots of your money wasted on needless ‘task forces’ and their donors getting access to your personal data. No doubt lots of hunts for non-existent EDI Managers as per the pathetic leaflets we received through our doors nationwide funded by billionaire non-doms https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cpw70j1k540o So much for voting for change then! A Tory reject from the Boris era.
  19. https://www.essexnewsandinvestigations.com/single-post/2018/09/22/exclusive-1 https://thebristolcable.org/2020/10/police-intelligence-links-disappearance-of-linda-millard-to-gangland-murders/ https://thebristolcable.org/2021/08/linda-millard-missing-person-avon-somerset-constabulary-police-bristol-portishead-rettendon/ There’s certainly a stench around how the police handled this potentially related case
  20. Martin to Rangers makes total sense - can dominate the ball in that league, fresh investment to upgrade the squad to his style, European football.
  21. IIRC it was Millwall home. Sent them down I seem to recall.
  22. What’s the excuse for the 77m people who for voted for that? They can’t even blame drugs.
  23. Only one more wicket for England A after that! India A 409/3.
  24. Levy made Poch pay Saints pay the compensation on the rest of his contract with us IIRC to join Spurs. Worth it on his earnings since.
  25. Football has a fair amount of hypocrisy too though https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/caleb-watts-slammed-over-controversial-exeter-city-to-plymouth-argyle-transfer/ https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/25188840.exeter-slammed-bitter-southampton-product-moves-plymouth/
