  1. Indeed. Also those 3 players were very tough competitors with strong leadership qualities too. Seems obvious to be signing these types of players to anyone , but it seems it’s taken a while / having someone who knows what they’re doing in charge of transfers, for this to actually happen again.
  2. Our fanbase are one of the softest in the country unfortunately. Even at our lowest point under him, we still had a good 20% of fans wanting him to stay, embarrassing
  3. I may be being a bit over optimistic, but I’d like to think we’d use the loan window to make one final low risk loan signing of a striker to add an extra option up front.
  4. Crappy Seaside B&B attitude to business
  5. Is that live footage of Alpine Saint arriving back at SaintsWeb HQ?
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c0j93z96wd8o this guy can’t stand Martin 🤣🤣
  7. My take at the time, was that Taylor wasn’t having Martins bullshit philosophy whatsoever and called him out on its flaws, having spent several years playing fairly successfully under a manager in Dyche who’s the polar opposite.
  8. The rot had set in by then. Yes the players weren’t up to it, but they were coached appallingly. And the straw that broke the camels back for most was that when it was clear that a record breakingly bad season was a distinct possibility, he doubled down on his approach and by doing so knowingly threw the entire football club under the bus to protect his own “image”. There is no world where 12 points is an acceptable return. No one will get less than 20 points this season I can almost guarantee you that.
  9. "There's not enough harmony or care for each other quite yet. We knew that coming in... We have to build that. That harmony has been disrupted for sure. There it is. It’s the fact he’s inherited players with a lack of care and harmony. Still the previous managers fault then.
  10. I’d be amazed if they risked him for the old firm game , given the scoreline today on top of the already extreme animosity towards him. If anything the board have been given a very good reason to pull the trigger now with the nature of the result today. They won’t risk going into the weekend with Martin still there
  11. It’ll be the previous regimes fault. Another classic Martin go-to excuse to attempt to deflect from his deficiencies. “There’s no magic wand, this club have been getting bad results for many years”. Straight from the Harry Redknapp school of blaming prior management for his bad results
  12. Surprised he isn’t on here actually……
  13. You mean “keeper to left back, left back to keeper, keeper to right back, right back to keeper”?
  14. May aswell put a bid in for Morgan Freeman as this fella
  15. There’s no way of knowing that just yet, You’d just be N’Guessan
  16. Captain Darling?!?! Bit of an unusual name for a bloke isn’t it?? last person I called darling was pregnant 20 minutes later. Woof woof!!
  17. Or a visit to the spice museum at Longstanton
  18. Moira Stewart would’ve buried that too
  19. That’s fair enough but in all seriousness, are you realistically expecting them to have made any decent signings by the end of the window, based on their previous record? Im not talking about what you’re hoping for, but surely you must fear the worst like a lot of us? If not, what makes you think this window be any different / better than previous ones under this ownership?
  20. In reality saves to shots ratio was one of the worst of all 24 clubs, and I think his “expected saved ratio” was the very worst by a country mile. Other than that, top keeper yeah.
  21. Yeah they usually come good without fail every transfer window, I’m sure we will all be over the moon when that window slams shut at all the amazing business we’ve done. They nail it every window, so you’re right to wait and see how it all pans out.
  22. Exactly. Under these complete cunts of owners we are gradually seeing what most of us feared and predicted, a steady decline season on season. Each season being worse than the previous one. You can bet we follow that trend this season by finishing lower than 4th and getting fewer than 87 points. After all we absolutely smashed our premier league decline, 25 points followed by a very impressive 12 points.
  23. Social media is rife with fans of other championship fans taking the absolute piss out of us. Even Millwall fans. We are even becoming the laughing stock of this league too now under this ownership, with pathetic signings like this .
