To be fair to Seaborne , it seems Charlton were using him mostly at left back, which really isn't his best position ,so it isn't surprising he didn't do well there. At his best, if he has fully recovered, he is somewhere around championship standard as a CB. He should do well at Bournemouth
-
How many are left on POL now? Must be close to single figures on-line at once by now surely? I'm surprised that frattoniser has anyone left to argue with.
-
Oh I don't know. With the orange being illegible, it saves having to read what he says.

Fan -bloody-tastic!

Think I might be going to have a heart attack. Too bloody tense to watch

Chelsea queuing up to take this free kick. Dangerous

Good interception by Boruc

Poor corner by guly . We've got to make the most of what possession we have . Not waste it.

He's made a few poor passes, and really should have cleared that ball.

Surprised this thread hasn't really lasted the distance. Thought it would run and run.
-
Just as long as he isn't put off by our being walked on tonight. (Me? I'm quietly confident!)

What worries me is that we can't see their legs in that picture. Obviouisly doing a Tom Cruise and standing on a box to make themselves look taller Do we really want a 5'6" tall centre back?
-
Apparently the police helicopter was already grounded because of the weather conditions, which if that is true, does you wonder why this one was flying. Surely London must be one of the world's most regulated airspaces?
-
Ok. That's helpful...all the essential information in one line. Thanks

Given he was supposedly poised to sign last night, I logged on just now expecting to see him confirmed as a saints player. Is there any actual news?
-
But we've already beaten them to the signing of Ramirez ("He's not going to southampton" --Lawrenson) So why not another one? If he's as good as Lundekvam was in his prime, that'll do me.
-
Now you see, I was believing that story till I got to your deliberate incorrect spelling of 'licence'. Then I knew you were joking!
-
Certainly looked like a shoulder injury. Might be dislocated or could be a collar bone? Could be serious or virtually nothing!
-
That'll help the cash flow then.

No more than usual Mack

That's my personal dream scenario. Takeover by trust after relegation has become a certainty, with not enough money to run the club properly, property developer with dodgy motives owning Fratton ,and another points deduction as they start L2. Result -- years more fun for us. But it seems the dedution carrying over is not automatic. I fear Jimmy_D's reasonig sounds too disappointingly correct
-
The deciding factor in all this is whether or not they'd get to keep Fratton Park somehow if they were liquidated. With it , many of their fans will still feel it is the same club, whatever league they're in. Without it, they'd just be another Havant & Waterlooville or Moneyfields.

Anyone know if the great and always well-informed Neil Allen is correct on this below? Or is it possible that they might come out of admin late enough and with few enough points to be relegated anyway, and get the points deduction next season , like we did? Otherwise they'll have got away with it ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment From Jim Jim : ] Will the minus 10 points be applied on exiting administration, regardless of cut off dates and league position? Unless of course they are liquidated in which case the FA, the PFA and the FL can say what they like, surely ordinary creditors get as much priority as the ex-players?
