  1. Unfortunately , apart from gender, the description for me also fits my wife!
  2. Nowadays , all fees for players are hugely affected by a) how much time is left onther current contract, and b) how much they currently earn So really the fees for these, or any other player, could vary by several £million depending on a) and b)
  3. I'm going to marry a premier league footballer. Admittedly, given I am a 59 year old, straight, man, with a bit of a beer belly, this is not particularly likely to happen even if my wife does divorce me, but .. hey .. you've got to have a dream!
  4. BBC describe it as rotten eggs, sulphur smell ,but what I'm getting is more like a diesel/oil/fuel smell Amazing to think that a leak in France can spread a smell over much of southern england
  5. So the trust really hasn't got any money to buy the ground, and Robinson is definitely not going to buy it for them, after all they said at the time of the last court delay. That Ashley Brown bloke could teach Goebbels a few things about propaganda!
  6. Anyone getting this smell from the factory gas leak in France? http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10177073.French_pong_reaches_Hampshire/?ref=nt
  7. FYI - Colin Farmery, Trust spokesman, is on the News webchat from 1pm tomorrow....acording to someone on the News comments section
  8. I think you may be confusing us with portsmouth
  9. So were they conciliatory?
  10. Would be better as goalkeeping coach, what with him saving and all.
  11. the press say that he likes to play 4-2-3-1 in the first and second team but insists that the youth teams play4-4-2 because he feels that is the best formation to develop skills
  12. I'm sure they will want to play for the new guy, but if he can't speak any English, how good is going to be at motivating them when morale is low, or even just explaining where/how he wants them to play?
  13. Bloody hell! I just agreed with Turkish.
  14. That was the way I saw it. Didn't blame him for going for more money, but he wanted it both ways .. to be a hero as well as to earn more. He blamed saints for not trying hard enough to keep him after City offered him the job.
  15. But also, St Mary's is the lowest ground in the league at 3 feet above sea level, and is right next to the 'storage radiator' of a large body of water, so is far less affected by cold weather.
  16. Maybe not a premiership player, but he's doing quite well at Wednesday now.
  17. To be fair to Seaborne , it seems Charlton were using him mostly at left back, which really isn't his best position ,so it isn't surprising he didn't do well there. At his best, if he has fully recovered, he is somewhere around championship standard as a CB. He should do well at Bournemouth
  18. How many are left on POL now? Must be close to single figures on-line at once by now surely? I'm surprised that frattoniser has anyone left to argue with.
  19. Oh I don't know. With the orange being illegible, it saves having to read what he says.
  20. Fan -bloody-tastic!
  21. Think I might be going to have a heart attack. Too bloody tense to watch
  22. Chelsea queuing up to take this free kick. Dangerous
  23. Good interception by Boruc
  24. Poor corner by guly . We've got to make the most of what possession we have . Not waste it.
  25. He's made a few poor passes, and really should have cleared that ball.
