  1. Interesting - his wikipedia page is very definitive that he's retired from football completely. More uncertainty and confusion in the land of the few...
  2. I sit at back of the chapel. Stewards tend to ask people to sit down - have even heard threats of ejection.
  3. Think Kanu is retired/retiring... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Arsenal-Portsmouth-West-Brom-news-Kanu-confirms-will-soon-retire-and-end-his-19-year-career-article746023.html
  4. Perry Groves
  5. Don't forget that Zebra Finance will be taking a large slice of that income...
  6. Looks like PFC fits perfectly in to their business portfolio
  7. Wow, that's a new low even for them... charging their disabled supporters 4 times. Wonder how long it will take the refund to come through... perhaps as part of another CVA, they might get 5% of their money back in about 5 years' time?
  8. If they do have a transfer embargo, I wonder if it will be effective as the last one...
  9. Traffic normally does 35-40 on the very wide and very straight bit just after you come off the avenue roundabout (on on way to it). They'll definitely catch a few.

  12. So - new owners are installed down the road and not a whimper of discontent from the few. When they are inevitably run in to the ground and placed back in to admin (or worse), I assume they will not be placing any blame at the door of the Football League? No stupid protests with "Fit and Proper?" signs?
  13. Super-injunction???
  14. Le Tiss's last ever goal too. Legend.
  15. Unless there is intention to make better use of the stadium (our single biggest asset; players excluded) to generate revenue in the summer, and they want to link the kit launch to these plans?
  16. What is your current role?
  17. NAIL ON HEAD. I started to put together a comparison of our respective administrations to put it in to perspective... will have to dig it out and finish it off...
  18. and not Brighton... oh dear, it's a conspiracy!
  19. Shirt sponsors.
  20. "Brighton have been magnificent" Wonder if Gus and co will find a way to twist that... how dare he be so patronising! Great article though - there's a real sense of professional pride running through the club.
  21. Makes sense for them to prep their players for the playoffs... psychologically and physically... forget the last league game and focus on the 3 that will make or break their season. Wouldn't be surprised to see them field a weakened team on Saturday.
  22. Anyone going to the coffee shop?
  23. May as well put it in this thread... Was looking at the "vs top half" (http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/vtophalf.html) and "vs bottom half" (http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D2/vbothalf.html) on the footy365 stats pages. Interesting to see that versus the top half teams, Brighton are some distance behind Saints and Huddersfield on Points per Game. It is their (admittedly excellent) record versus the lower half teams that has put them top of the table. Suggests to me that whilst they are comfortable against poorer opposition, they will struggle to make the step up when playing better quality teams every week. Indeed, Saints and Bompey have each taken 4 points off them this season, and Huddersfield took all 6...
  24. Good luck to them - i'll be temporarily supporting them (my dad's team) at the playoff final if and when they get there!
  25. Interesting point. The skate fans who have purchased season tickets have unknowingly not bought directly from the club, but have actually bought (in effect) a product from Zebra. So if the club goes pop, does the credit card actually offer them any protection? This could get REALLY interesting...
