  1. Believe this refers specifically to paying 100% to small creditors (not part of the CVA), as opposed to paying the 25p due to all creditors (which is the CVA).
  2. The answer is (6), none of the above, for you have created a false polychotomy to support your argument. The closest is a combination of (3) and (4), also known as natural selection - note that natural selection is not exclusively the domain of mammals or even organisms. Remember also that we are talking about a process taking place over millions of years (hence the use of "spontaneously" is disingenuous). To reject the natural formation of DNA is to reject all of evolution (though that might not be a problem for your argument). HTH.
  3. I see they're now signing 17 year olds from the Ryman league! Expect to see him on the bench for the rest of the season?
  4. and Fox. Maybe we're trying to tell the rest of the footballing world to F.O. ... ?
  5. That's astonishing! For defence? Or for smashing windows...? Also, somewhat intrigued as to what Sport/Leisure purpose Amazon expects for the telescopic police baton...
  6. nailed.
  7. Don't mean to pour water on all this speculation, but I am reliably informed that the guy who was shown on the big screen at SMS (don't know about Sky) is our financial director...
  8. Ah, it had to happen eventually. Pompey's troubles were caused by the world financial crisis! Of course, it all makes sense, how stupid of us all.
  9. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2011/03/01/portsmouth_pool/ Some more evidence of the skates' numerical acumen ...
  10. Small/Medium Enterprise (i.e. a small firm)
  11. Could he earn the right to MLT's song? He's got a similar structure to his name... De Ridd, De Ridd, Stevie, Steve De Ridd He gets the ball, he _______________ the ____id Stevie, Steve De Ridd! Just need to fill in the blank...!
  12. I think he thought it was offside (and wouldn't have done it otherwise), but the whistle hadn't actually gone. And (without looking it up) I think it might have been a crap lofted diagonal cross from Jamie Redknapp...
  13. How about the old Rasiak chant... Na na na na (etc), Stevie De Ridder, De Ridder... Stevie De Ridder... (repeat)
  14. Quite the opposite actually. He was making the point that getting 19k against Chelsea means f all.
  15. Why don't we wait and see who gets what in the respective home league games, yes?
  16. David Baddiel-alike, Matt Robinson.
  17. Post #149?
  18. So.... whose prediction/mock up came closest?
  19. For all we know he could have said: "It has been fantastic helping them to get promoted. But now I feel I’m ready to play in the Premier League, and I just know that we've got the ambition and a squad that's capable of getting us there in the next couple of seasons”. Hack sports journalists are from the same school as the people who write the reviews on film posters!
  20. Absolutely right it was. He died and ownership of the asset passed to his estate. Nothing shocking or surprising about that. If that was the worst they could find, they weren't looking very hard.
  21. I phoned in my renewal last Monday and they said they'd post it to me within about 2 weeks.
  22. Love how Chelsea changed their entire team for the second half. Imagine having that many players in your squad...
  23. Quick question ... does anyone know if the ticket office is open tomorrow (Sunday) ?
  24. Actually, don't even reply. Just ignore it. They'll go away eventually.
  25. And the 27.8m receipts includes one offs of £7.1m contribution to cost of admin, and £200k contribution to legal fees, not to mention 7.2m of player sales. Hardly overwhelming evidence of long term book balancing!
