I'd move to South Africa, indeed been taking Hutch's counsel on it for a while. I am quite fortunate that we own a property there and could live there for a good while without needing to work, see my kids grow up etc. I am worried about how I keep my handicap high to maintain my bandit status as I'd be forced to play every day. So I have a straight choice, keep climbing the greasy pole to a 'C' level position in a big UK company or semi-retire. Reading the Whitey thread on the main board puts it in to perspective.
