  1. Technically FF started the thread 'Oh Happy Day - PFC takeover completes'. The thread title was changed after it rumbled on for a bit. That said, 'oh happy day' sums it up - because from that point their terminal, public and humiliating decline started. Duncan in effect wrote this forums version of Genesis.
  2. Perhaps there is a consortium of Gun Runner, Al Fahim, Al Mirage, Chinny and Antonov all working together with the PST (Funny how that sounds like ****ed) to secure Champions Leagure football at the Harbourdrome. Or more likely 17 points, embargo and a stipulation that there cannot be fat in the pipes at and FL ground.
  3. A poll of their best owners over the last five years is like asking which is the best form of cancer. The delusion on the fish smelling end of the M27 is simply laughable. The only thing that makes me want them to limp on is that my train journeys will be very boring without the constant gut laughs this thread provides. I am sure I have mentioned in before, but if ever you get a chance watch a film called 'Major League'. If they do survive Chinny will replicate the owners tactics next year, without the happy ending (I believe Avram has the Pompey monopoly on those anyway).
  4. How did they announce it?
  5. If he signs, great. If not we move on to next target. Not sure why people are reading so much into the delay, very little business has / will happen until after the Euros.
  6. Great signing if true. Was the engine behind our late season push in 2007. Looked a cracking prospect at Bolton the year after as well. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4158639/Football-Confidential-Latest-news-in-brief-from-across-English-football.html
  7. Everyone available on a Bosman. Pompey 'stars' available for nothing according to the Snooze. Yet strangely all the players are happy to sit on their backsides and play L1 football. We must conclude from this that they are on very generous contracts http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/blues-stars-could-walk-away-for-free-1-3912291
  8. Worlds best fans come in free.
  9. Is Prutton still the record holder? http://www.wsc.co.uk/content/view/631/29/ David Prutton is the surprising holder of the record for most appearances without earning a full cap, with 25, but James Milner is closing fast. He has 21 caps so far and will still be eligible for the 2009 European Championship, giving him a good chance of overhauling the overall Under-21 *appearance‑record holders, Gareth Barry and Jamie Carragher, who have 27 each.
  10. I'd settle for closed doors.
  11. I have 3. Will trade one + cash for 1985 away kit!
  12. The mobility scooter user and helper get in for £99 per year. 2 punters that will pay TBH wages for approximately 5 mins based on his £50k.
  13. Players not being paid is the responsibility of PKF. The Skates must be burning a big hole in their pockets.
  14. Haha, it is a moot point anyway. They will take PKF under if they run a season in admin.

  16. This is clearly explained in many of the 1269 pages, do keep up
  17. Itk on the kit in 2011. I am preparing for red with white pinstripe.
  18. Either way they were toast, just means the current players can bleed them longer.
  19. One assumes if the FCR is overturned today Ben Haim will be made redundant by lunchtime.
  20. Prices are not a million miles of what they were when we were last in the Prem from memory. Unfortunately it is supply and demand.
  21. This won't make Golden Threads.
  22. My man in the Pompey shirt said: “Balu refused to take a haircut on his investment. He plans to sell players, buy cheaper ones and run the business on its bare necessities.” ROFL
  23. Trust is not a value required to own PFC.
  24. Pretty elaborate if so. http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/brett-de-bank/2b/a52/101
