Yes Hypo, knock yourself out. Just make sure you reference it is from Dodgy Rumours please - that way I can find it easily to move into TMS after the initial decent banter has died down.
-
As does pointing out how pointless something is by making a point of it.
-
Actually some decent laughs on this one.
-
That will make him sympathetic to their cause

The hydro whip was nuts. Also it had 10m diving board!

Fair points in there Minty. It has been discussed on the Mod Forum in relation to certain posters over the Summer and the general opinion is that the issues have not got any worse than usual but are perhaps more obvious as this is quite a quiet time for news and indeed football matches. Not sure if I am one of the ones with an attitude but I'd always welcome a PM if you felt I have been out of order. In respect of the numbers of Mods you may be right that we need more, especially if our user base grows as a Prem team. Ultimately that is Steve and Baj's call whether to add or replace. I am sure they will both read this and may act accordingly. Also this place is a lot easier to Moderate when the team is doing well, a 6-0 from Citeh on the first day may send us into meltdown! Final point that was about members self-moderating, I would urge anyone who sees a thread being taking off topic to use the report function. This pings an e-mail to all admins and moderators who can then get directly to the thread to review.

Ok sweepstake time, I am going for Marc Jackson, supported by Briefcase Barry.

It was my opinion as a poster, not as a Moderator on this forum. My point is that guys like Pompey Scot, Mick Williams and Colin Farmery are trying to save their club - hardly the biggest crime. Sure, they may have cheered Kanu becoming the first 40 year old to score in a cup final, but in the general scheme of things I have no quarrel with them in comparison to the owners and general knuckle draggers.

The Skates should probably pay a bit more attention to GM's ITK posts. As I recall he called out Tony Lynham on the day the bid broke cover, long before the Fialka debacle.
-
There is enough to laugh about Portsmouth Football Club (well what's left of it) without having to take out civilians. Neil Allen however is a declared military communications target.
-
My money is on Neil explaining to us that Appleton was going with a 'development squad'. Now having played at Aldershot I can confirm it is neither built on a gravel pit or an amazing footballing surface - perhaps he will use this as his Goldilocks excuse.

2 admins, err in the last 2 years - is admin like the Premier League results, didn't happen before the Internet?
-
Following on from the POL thread I have just checked the Mod forum on TSW. Complete tumbleweed, it's almost like we are a Premier League club with a bright future
-
That would be the '7 figure sum' then!

I met someone who represented a US organisation having a nose at Pompey during this current administration (not Cala), their reaction was exactly the same when they saw the numbers presented by Birch. I still believe Chanrai will buy, run on a shoestring, move the ground into a different company (as per his bid) and trouser the pp before liquidating.

Did you give them the ex-pat speech GM?
-
Waiting Neil Allen to fawn over Portsmouth born and former season ticket holder James Ward Prowse. When he does I hope they find this image.
-
Infract yourself please Glasgow.
-
He clearly meant 'suffer'.
-
No, the Skacel thread, which included another player as well whose name escapes me, was about 4 volumes of 20 page threads.

I have always liked Harding for his enthusiasm and commitment. He was the first new player under the ML ownership and him moving on shows how far we have come in three years. As others have noted, the Prem will be a stretch for him but he could do a good job in the Championship.

There are literallys 10's of people at this event.

Very standard practice in the UK. There are hundreds of thousands of these constructions - perfectly above board. Ultimately it doesn't matter whether Tbh is a service provider or employee, the FCR will still apply.
-
Alternatively they are working behind the scenes in a professional way to resolve it. The PFA, FA, Prem League and The Football League all need to co-operate and work together if football in the UK is to function - they don't need Pompey like they need each other. The players will be ok. Imagine scenario that Pompey goes pop and the remaining parachute gets distributed to the Prem clubs whilst plucky Ben Haim gets nothing, the authorities won't let it happen as it destroys the sacred Football Creditors bubble they all live in. The link Sevvy posted to the Leeds story where Dominic Matteo says that wages were 'deffered' is the key to this, I think the players will get what they are owed to date, unlikely to see the balance of their contracts in any scenario. This appears to be the sticking point as Taylor is saying Chanrai won't guarentee the players receiving what they are owed to date.
