Agree, but they won't. These are the same fears as when Mandala came into power, then when Mbeki took over and laterly when Mr Zuma assumed control. 16 Years on they are still treading the tightrope pretty well, the guys who are really in control (The economics guys behind the scenes) know that they can either keep on the plan of gradual re-distribution of wealth that will result in sustained economic growth of throw the towel in and return to the stone-age like they have done up the road.
