  1. Ok, based on all before on this thread hopefully we have a perception of what is usually an offensive post. Hypo, happy to discuss further via PM if you require.
  2. I have edited it for you.
  3. Fail..... u·su·al (yzh-l) adj. 1. Commonly encountered, experienced, or observed: the usual summer heat. 2. Regularly or customarily used: ended the speech with the usual expressions of thanks. 3. In conformity with regular practice or procedure: Come at the usual time. 4. "v. quot·ed, quot·ing, quotes v.tr. 1. To repeat or copy the words of (another), usually with acknowledgment of the source." Source : http://www.thefreedictionary.com/quote
  5. I chose the SWF company car rather than the salary tbf.

Anyway I have explained the misunderstanding to the new mods so hopefully things will be sorted. I rest my case.
  8. The point as many have made, is that you did not quote or reference said piece. You therefore passed it off as your own. To be fair I can appreciate that these issues are a matter of opinion, so I stuck our PM thread on the mod forum to give you the benefit of the doubt to see if I had got it wrong, no-one disagreed. 9. Clearly I meant Aaron Martin
  10. I have added what may be the most pointless poll in history to the top of this thread.
  11. Great performance tonight, but the really impressive thing is the strength we now have in depth. Assuming tonight is first XI, should we choose to a reserve team vs Shrewsbury would be: Bart Butterfield Jaidi Martin Dickson / Mills Puncheon Morgan Wotton Holmes Guly Bignall / Connolly A really good balance of strong reserves to bring in should we pick up injuries or suspensions.

  13. Great win. Sounds like the OC has come of age.
  14. All, as fun has it has been - can we concentrate on the football please. There have been a number of images that have crossed the line that I have deleted.
  15. Thank you to those who reported a particular post on this thread. The post has been deleted and action has been taken according to the forum rules.

Ian Wright's son sits in the Kingsland?
  18. So to sum up. Fan was ill, fan now better and a general agreement that it is better to eat than not.
  19. I think PES has missed the logical conclusion of my point, don't spend beyond your means. Success is built on cultivating a fan base not buying mercinaries on the credit card.
  20. Laughing at PES' stats. I said extended period, most would normally take this to mean 10,20 maybe 25 years..... you seem to believe stats from the 1900's are relevant!

A real shame on such a good day. Mum should appreciate that their are nob-heads everywhere, if it wasn't at a Saints game it may well have been at a pub in town.
  22. I have edited on behalf of our English speakers.

Have to agree with S_C. He gave glimpes of being a great striker. He scored some cracking goals but just never did 'it' enough. However, He Could Have Done A Job For Us, Didn't, So Pass Thanks HCDAJFUSSPT
  24. Interesting points from PES. Should they get promoted their imposion would be even more spectacular. There are a two points worth making at this junture. a) Why are there parachute payments? This mechanism encourages clubs to 'bet the farm' on staying in the franchise that has become the Premier League. Poopey are gambling on a promotion to either get a sale or 4 years with their snouts in the trough. Turkey's vetoeing Christmas I would imagine. b) I truly believe their is a long term principle that tracks success versus support base to an equilibrium. In simple terms for those of you tinged in blue, this means that over an extended period those with the biggest fan bases such as Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, Citeh, Spuds will be the most succesful. Based on this Saints are lower Prem, the blue few (or laterally, phew) mid to lower champ.
