  7. does this meen that the marc jackson bud has bean suppered? he has rented a flat from town and contry an everything. he must have failed to get the dew digulance sorted out. gong to weight for me apologise from kelso kev.
  8. Original Poster.
  9. Back to the thread, the OP (if memory serves me right) has an excellent track record, superb form and will know the odds inside out.
  10. Cheers for confirming who you are. Apologies to St David.
  11. WGS vs Kenwhinge Jones, no contest!
  12. :prayer:
  13. You and St D. had a love in around the time of Paul Allen debacle, 2 years ago. At the time you went on about meeting up. Even the Derby fans who posted crap at the time said you were one and the same. Good job my memory is better than the corrupted TSF database. Anyway, back to matters more pressing (and I cannot believe I am even entertaining discussing this), if you had just done a deal to buy the club would you really take the administrator along with you to a letting agency and then not be able provide proof of funds to remove a wheel clamp? Please pass on my regards to Kevin Keegan.
  14. From the Chablis region no doubt.
  15. Although the post has enough spelling errors to make me think it could be LLS.
  16. Yes, St. D as I recall.
  17. Kelso Kev, now there is a name from "KK spotted at SMS days". [-X IF true, glad to see that Jackson can't afford £200 having purchased the club.
  18. Very interesting point. The difference betwen someone who can afford to buy a Ferrari and someone who can afford to buy and run one. If one of the consortia pays over the odds or drives one of their rival bidders price up there will be less in the kitty to rebuild.
  19. Are you saying they have genuinely put Jackson as part of the bid to deliberately dis-arm other bidders? Genius if so, suggest they add Barry the Briefcase for full effect.
  20. From what I have read about Salz and judging by his background you would imagine that his commercial acumen would knock our friend LLS' into a ****ed hat, not that I think Marc Jackson involvement would be anything other than 'business strategist'. Perhaps, and just perhaps, the said parties are waiting for a liquidation of the assets....... You would imagine that Aviva would have first charge on the stadium which may see them lease back to a club needing a 32,000 seater stadium or sell to the council as mooted on here. It is acknowledged that the majority of the debt is acrued here. That would leave the Football Club (an asset on SLH not itself in administration despite what the nobbers at the football league would have us believe) up for sale, I would imagine that the purchase of that could still be at a fair whack but without the millstone around the neck of a £25m mortage. I wonder which entity the player contracts are held against? Then again, I am not an M&A expert.
  21. I don't think you need to be Columbo to work that out.
  22. That would be my understanding, they will be free agents. Someone (many moons ago) posted that Aviva could do a deal that they would get a further payout should Saints return to the Prem - this would not be possible in liquidation. I cannot believe that it will come to that.
  23. Commercial suicide from Barclays. Pulling the plug when they did that is, 2 weeks before or 4 weeks later I can understand. I would imagine they now have to consider whether to stump up the £500k themselves to string the process out to find a buyer, otherwise any assets the club will have will be liquidated at fire sale prices. Of course I would imagine Fry's comment has been designed to focus all sides attention. I still remain confident that it is in all parties interests to complete.

    Kevin Keegan

I am sure he has already been appointed. I am also sure he has since quit due to the pressure.
  25. Please **** off with these balanced and reasonable posts ;-)
