My company was involved in speaking to a premiership team last year about shirt sponsorship. I am not allowed to name the club due to an NDA but the deal was eventually signed (by another company) for around £0.5m. Flybe deal sounds fair business for CCC.
-
You can see what Burley will do. Talented young centre back with some CCC experience, "I know, lets play him left wing, hic".
-
I personally will be writing to Santa for Stern John to return to us for the second half of the season. Even if he is on £20k a week that £1/2m could be the difference between growth in the Championship next year or looking to walk league one.

This is simply the same bad news reported in July. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=10348 Since then we have disposed of some substantial wages: II Powell Ostlund John Saga Rasiak Dyer Davies (We even got a fee!) In addition we received a sell-on for Crouch. Just Euell's contract to see out and thats probably 100k pw / £5.2m off the wage bill to kick off. We always knew this would be the figure so why the surprise?

Not sure how or why this thread has got to JP vs NP? For my money they bring different things. Pearson came in at a time when the club was at a real low and bought back some respect and pride. JP has provided us with some great glimpes of a Saints spirit not seen in many a year. If I had to choose I'd go for the edgy attacking style that I have seen from the JP sides this year.

Congratulations to the OP for hijacking the traditional 'bother after the game' thread with some brilliant irony / sarcasm. Moral of the story, read the thread not the title. A modern day H.G. Wells :-)

The retards will wonder why their bus to work is off the road when they are late for work on Monday!

Perhaps Rupert only does team talks at home?
-
Lallana to the Spuds, has Rupert forgiven Arry then?

Having watched Reading this year and seen Stephen Hunt destroy Crystal Palace I would suggest that the best right back we have should play there. For my money Cork seems the best bet.

They fall apart after one wash so its a moot point.

The government is trying to encourage loans, we will be ok ;-)

Not sure this was the thrashing we were due to dish out, but it doesn't get sweeter than this. -

If we draw the skates at home in the 3rd round of the cup I think that will be a nailed on cert. -
Seem to recall Casey Kellar doing a job for us against the skates a few years back. Watch this guy own the one shot we get on target this afternoon.

Maybe he might poach the seventh... -
Its a shame we no longer have Jhon Viafara for penalties. The keeper would have as much of an idea where it would be going as Jhon himself.

Well written and balanced posts are not welcome here.;-)

Breaking news - HM Treasury buys a stake in Saints

Knowing our luck we will have breached some league rule as a result and will be docked 10 points. -
Find a pub you want to watch the Saints game in, note its name and then phone Setanta and cancel their subscription. They will then be 'forced' to show Saints game.

Coventry V Saints - Pre Match Views and Predictions

The undertone of this game is SISU Vs Lowe. I wonder how they are finding the credit crisis? Sky presenter on the Brum game also keeps calling us 'vastly improving'. Fresh from that curse, the game being on Sky and not being able to remember when we strung 3 back to wins together I am going for 2-0 defeat. -
Remind me, how many points is it for a 10-0 win?
-
Saints dominating. McGoldrick and Peckhart look dangerous, Wotton and Perry solid. Sound familiar? Look out for Barnsley goal.

Must be our lowest ever league position since the 60's
